1st video guys, so apologies for the poor audio at times. Please feel free to let me know where I can improve on.
I went wild camping myself in freezing temperatures to Loch Drunkie which is near Aberfoyle and a part of the Three Lochs Forest drive. On my journey I got lost. I found a spot, got set up, built a big fire, and cooked on the stone. I then ended the night with a sleep under the stars in a see through tent.

@@MontyOutdoors thanks mate , Xmas and new year I was working both ,and apart from 1 night on the 29th I was on for the fortnight really ...earning instead of spending lol but I've spent it now on winter camping gear cause I'm still planning on giving it a go in February .. fingers crossed I don't die . 🙏 lol only joking about dying , God is on my side 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🤣

Nice video mate. I camped at Loch Achray in November and noticed you went there recently. Loch Drunkie was on my list before the permits start, but not sure if I'll get the chance to go there before March. I think if you're into Lochside camps you need to go to Loch Venachar, Loch Voil or Loch Earn if you've not done them before. I'm currently looking at Loch Tay the now. Anyway I'll look out for more camps from you as I like camps by the Lochs in Scotland.

My other video has my social media in the description - I need to add them to this one - and I've done both Loch Voil and Loch Earn - I'll get a video when I visit again. Loch Venacher will be done in the next month or two along with Loch Tay. I'd say my favourite Loch camp is Loch Nevis, although some may claim it as the Atlantic Ocean!

Oh the channel has evolved, mate haha. This video is a shocker, but looking at all the other bigger KZbinrs, they were the same. This was one of my best camps and I hope to revisit in winter! Thanks again for watching, Bill. Is it America you are based in?

My hat's off to you, @ Monty Outdoors. Your videography's come a long way- better editing, sound, and pacing of your content. Yes, I've been in North Carolina for the past 48 years, 20 years in Connecticut before that. My ggrandfather was born in Derryall, near Portadown in Armagh, Ireland. The family sailed out of Liverpool to New York in 1884, and were Bryans then.(with an s) Before Armagh, they were based somewhere near the River Clyde, Argyll, Paisley area.

What do those veggie steaks taste like ?

Those ones in particular are very nice. A lot of veggie meat does have an element of it that tastes like meat, but it's very unique. It's the texture as well that adds to the experience. Some have an awful dry or rubbery texture, others have a meat like texture and meat like taste. Vivera's stuff is considered mid range. Most of Quorn's stuff is awful, but a few of theirs is good. Try it!

Hi mate. There was a ridge of high pressure over Scotland and the Met Office forecasted nothing other than sunshine and a clear night. I also regularly checked the rainfall radar for incoming showers, but there wasn't one on sight. Given the unpredictability of Scottish weather - which I have been a victim of - I brought my tarp on the safe side :). Risky business camping with an insect mesh in Scotland without a doubt.
