Seems you left one more production use of Monument Valley out - the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote cartoons. Creator Chuck Jones used the backdrop of Monument Valley in most of the episodes...... when I look at the top of one of the bluffs I can't help but think of the coyote trying to catch the road runner with a vaunted Acme contraption and being inadvertently ejected off the top with a boulder falling on top of him.

John Ford: No director in cinematic history shall ever come close to graciously using natural desert monuments on film befitting of the God given glory given to them as such. David Lean: Hold my wineskin....

I actually got to stand at John Ford's Point, right near the 'Three Sisters.'

Don't forget it was even featured in "2001: A Space Odyssey." It was seen in bizzare colors in the wormhole sequence.
