I’m Australian, did new years Eve back in 2012 in the shangrila and we paid $1000-$2000 per night with a minimum stay of 3 nights back then. And we had a room that looked direct onto the harbour bridge & opera house 360’ view of the fireworks and we did it with my cousin so split the cost for 50-50 each. Best decision we made and highly recommend it

I know i might be 7 months too late to reply to this vlog but you mentioned Koalas in Californian zoo's, there are two places you can see Koalas there if you and Markus ever get a chance to visit San Diego Zoo they have the largest Koala population outside of Australia living there. I'm not too sure if they have them at the San Diego Safari Park but the San Diego Zoo definitely does have them

Ha Ha Ha, Sounds like my experience working for Exxon Mobile and traveling with two EXECUTIVES to Singapore! Those two stayed at a six star like the Crown while myself and the other three GRUNDOONS ended up at the Hilton across the street!!! 😂🤣😂
