The Andres Bonifacio Monument or more commonly known as 'Monumento' stands as a symbol of the heroism of the 'Father of the Philippine Revolution'. While most people know this as transit point in Grace Park, Caloocan, Metro Manila, not too many know the real value of this treasure by the national artist Guillermo Tolentino.

Andres Bonifacio’s cry of Balintawak spread like wildfire throughout the Philippines. He was the prime mover or the one who started the flame of Philippine Revolution. Earlier in the 1700s, Francisco Dagohoy and Diego Silang fought against the Spanish colonial government but to no avail, due to lack of assistance, attendance, and logistics. Bonifacio had many die-hard supporters, so they won the Revolution. Emilio Aguinaldo, George Dewey, Antonio Luna, Gregorio del Pilar were also the contributing factors for attaining the victory of the Revolution.
