I find it amazing that at 35:01, behind her stands, casually, a breathtaking work by Ilya Chashnik, a top student of Malevich. Mind blown!

He was not a Russian artist. Born in Kyiv, Ukraine into a Polish family.

Kasimir Malevich and his art moves me as does Mark Rothco's and for similar reasons. What a mystery it is that lines, circles, geometry can arouse such emotion! In this video, those who love and honor also touch my heart and artistic sensibilities. Urbanization is as senseless in Russia as in America. The ugliness of the site that held a beautiful oak tree the worst. What heart these people have who give their time, energy, love to keeping the memory of Malevich and his peers alive.

Russian riffraff... Malevich was a Pole. In Poland he would have been buried at the National Cemetery devoted to great Polish artists and intellectuals.
