This tutorial was perfect! I wanted to see if I could find a way to create my own shadows from my mica powders, and this nailed it! Thank you so much!
@Unfiltered_from_The_Bronx3 жыл бұрын
I noticed she kept saying pigment, but it's mica powder. So if you wanting a shimmery shadow, your mica will be perfect; but if it's matte you looking for pigments are the way to go!

I think measuring a quarter of this and a teaspoon of that, taking notes & labeling is imperative in order to get the same exact color twice. It did turn out to be a beautiful pallet.

Where do you get the packets of pigment?
@MOCOMAKEUP7 жыл бұрын
Taticat NineLand I bought them years ago from coastal scents. they don't sell it anymore but they were only sample scoops. sample scoops are available on ebay, amazon. pigments are available on eBay, MAC, MAKEUP FOREVER, NYX, wet n wild etc... any pigment will work

Fun to watch. Love the sparkle you add. Wondering why you wouldn't mix your pigments and binders and alcohol in a little plastic palette, then transfer to the pan. Mixing in the pan seems to create a lot of mess and loses you some of your ingredients. I'm sure there's a good reason. Would love know.
@MOCOMAKEUP3 жыл бұрын
I mixed them in the palette because it was a bit more space. I'd mixed them in the pan before but it was too small and powder was flying out everywhere

Love that gold glitter. I’ve been using discount glitter press from this one pallet and they no longer make that pallet in the more so I see yours is very pretty and something similar to it and I’m gonna have to make it and try it. How did you do the gold glitter

How do you find they blend out ? Your not using a slip and skin adhesion agent like, sericit mica or talc. Honestly interested if this has a nice blend and texture :)
@MOCOMAKEUP3 жыл бұрын
They blended out really well. I ended up using them mostly for theatre work since I didn't want to carry pigment pots around

Looks like mica powder to me, not pigment. It's great for shimmery shadows, but definitely not matte. Pure pigment is not shimmery!
@butterfly85145 жыл бұрын
Do not do this unless you want molded eyeshadow. Glycerine with mold them
