“Mood Lifters - A Tribute to Rush” is a Southern California Rush Tribute Band formed in 2021. The band’s focus is on the faithful recreation and performance of songs from all eras of Rush’s career, “from first to last.” Every song is on the table, and the band performs the classics and deep cuts with tremendous energy and care.
The Mood Lifters are:
Rocky Kuner - vocals;
Isamu Kakitani - bass guitar, keyboards, pedals;
Ben King, guitar;
Mat Miranda, drums & percussion.
Each of the Mood Lifters is a lifelong fan of Rush and has played Rush’s music in other Rush tribute bands or otherwise.

I can tell you’ve put a lot of time into your sound and all of the musicians are terrific on their instruments. As a musician myself, I can really appreciate the amount of work it takes to cover Rush. Having a singer like Rocky, who can cover Geddy respectfully is a big plus. She’s major league.

You all are awesome, terrific cover. I love the proper Geddy Bass sound you are getting, nice and warm with deep tone but just enough treble to keep it out in front. The usual excellent work on guitar and drums with a tasty solo nicely done. Rocky just keeps getting better and better! Such great, powerful vocals and the stage presence is really going nicely. I'm so happy that she looks happy and sounds great. Best of luck to you all, maybe I'll see you on the road sometime.

Her voice has always been a favorite for me on my both RUSH jams & new original material. Again, I am blown away how Rocky has developed more ( in my opinion) her lower range while still being able to belt out mid to highs. She is blessed with the tools ! Bastille Day, is one of my favorites and so is, I Think I'm Going Bald!!! But, I can't get over just how great you all sound. My very first concert that I ever saw was, Rush, Mott the Hoople, Blue Oyster Cult. Rush stole the show. I believe wherever you go to play, you will be stealing the show. Love you guys and gal!
