This song causes me to think of loved ones gone . There is one in particular ; Lucero . My youngest stepdaughter was kidnapped , tortured and murdered by the Linea Nueva cartel in El Porvenir , Chihuahua Mexico . 2014. All because someone who was being tortured listed her and 40 other people as having knowledge they wanted . She did not know . They cut the coward once in the side . He gave in and he was freed ; a warning to anyone who didn't bow down . They let a woman go , I don't know why . The rest they murdered . Enough of that . Forgive me if I saddened you .

When my sweetest and older sister Anne passed away in 2005 at the tender age of 56, I sobbed every day for the first month. This beautiful song and Justin Hayward's tender voice gave me great comfort then and does even now. Anne would have been 70 years old this April 10th. I will be 69 in November if I make it that long. I will never be completely happy again until I am again embracing my dear sister. The next voice she shall hear will be the sweet voice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, saying, "Rise, my daughter."

I met my future wife Mariola on May 8th, 1980, and fell in love instantly and deep. :-) But during summer 1980 we were in different countries and I was missing Her so much... So when writing letters to Her I quoted this song, declaring how much I long for the day we meet again. This finally happened in August. :-) Quite soon, in Feb 1982 we got married and lived together happily for over 34 years, having children and grandchildren. On July 10, 2016 my beloved Mariola passed away. :-( So now since over 4 years again I am looking forward to the day we meet again - this time in Heaven, in front of the Almighty God, where She is waiting for me. This will be a wonderful day!!! Justin Hayward - thank You for this song!

The Moody Blues had countless great songs through their career but this is their crowning achievement. It's just too beautiful to describe. It's in a category with Tom Waits' "Martha," Andrea Bocelli's "It's Time to Say Goodbye," & Timi Yuro's "Interlude." Some music goes into your feet, some into your mind & some into your heart. This one goes into the soul. I can't work when this plays. Even The Beatles' wonderful "Let It Be," & "Long & Winding Road," struggle to be as good as this.

Those times were often sad and 'Moody'. As time has passed, however, the pain has faded. In fact, those memories have become quite dear to me now. My all time favourite Moodies song. So emotional and beautiful. Great production. Justin Hayward's recording voice is the most emotional voice I have ever heard. We are privileged to have shared the same lifetime with them but I fear they have come to the end of the road when this pandemic finally ends.

I should be outside in the garden but instead I am drifting through a lot of Moody Blues new postings on U Tube and cannot believe everything has changed except the Moodies.....thanks for posting

i'm a big time, mutlti-decade fanatic moody blues fanatic, that being said, I just can't help saying how cool it would be to play this music softly in the background at all of America's funeral homes, while people are grieving the, Moodies could gently guide the bereaved into calm acceptance. is it just me or do other people imagine this too?"

Of course you are right. When my time comes I want everyone to hear these songs, understand what they meant to me, and really know I am free and we can all be free.

I am with you and I want Watching and Waiting played when they scatter my ashes on my front lawn where my husband and four dogs are. They are so good and I do love them.... their music is fantastic

I am having certain songs played for me when I bite the dust, when they scatter my ashes, that is. Wish I could take the music with me but this is the next best thing I can think of. Love them guys and they are the best

The only thing better than listening to the Moody Blues is listening to Them with your videos.

One thing ive noticed about the moody blues over the years. Big time fans of the moody blues all share and are united into a very simular personification. I never met someone who loved the moody blues i didnt feel spiritualy connected to. At MB concerts you could feel it. We are all silent hidden melancholy secret (KNIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN ) Sitting at some other dimension at a (ROUND TABLE)near a surf ladden seagull infested castle called ...... CAMELOT ITS SOOO MUCH BETTER THERE

Dearest Jill. A million thanks to you! May The Creator in Heaven bring you grace, peace, joy, and light (forevermore). I play the tune, For My Lady (by The Moody Blues) many times when I think of My Barbra Rose. It was (and remains) one of our favorite songs. All of Heaven's best to you (and to The Moody Blues)!

This will be the song that is played at my funeral, I really hope it’s a long time before that happens.

This Moody Blues song is one of my favorites from them for years now. I lost my dear older mom in death last December, and my older dad died 7 months after mom this last July - I do hope there is a hereafter where I'll meet them again. But even now I feel their presence in my life still, especially when listening to songs like this one. I hope the Moody Blues finally get put in the rock n roll hall of fame this spring of 2018. They deserve it more than anybody at this point in their careers. Great music written - needs to be acknowledged. Cheers and a clink of my glass to the Moodies. Sincerely, Paul Edwards

The beauty of Octave-is rolled up in this song and the songs leading up to it as a finale to the album especially Driftwood with its lush romantic ballad with this beautiful enthralling song ending in the passing of time and healing you know we’re only living for the day we meet again in the garden down the road as the mist of time is lifting it wasn’t there echoing through time oh no oh no! Oh no! With those guitar sounds almost like it’s crying 💙 🎵🎶🎵🎸 enjoyed the visuals to this beautiful but sad song✨

GOODDD..He is 1 BEAUTIFUL & Gifted MAN! He GOODDD. He is 1 BEAUTIFUL & Gifted MAN! Rock & Roll Hall of Fame needs to be run properly, not by a few people who decide who gets nominated & voted in. Look into the process on WIKI-I did last week after a DJ said he too couldn't believe they weren't yet inducted. Folks need to know things need to change. I've got to see him this year. They don't make it close to Maine, USA very often (not enough population to draw them). Thanks Fellows Moodies.

Some kind of kinship to these men , a kinship of sound must be known for us to feel the stories they bring . It's been decades since I first heard them . Amazed and captured was I . I didn't even know what kind of music it was . That didn't matter . All I knew was that is when I awakened to appreciate music . They were my single favorite band for many years . There are now other bands that I enjoy equally , though only a few . Still some of the Moody Blues songs hit me like nothing else can . A few of their songs I don't listen to near as much anymore . Some because they are so often heard . Some because I hear a message that isn't quite how I believe . I know some of you must feel as if that's on the bounds of some sort of blasphemy . I must be honest . Still , I love them all , the newcomers just as much . They care for us as we care for them . Much gratitude for the lives of The Moody Blues .

Yes, we will be met by our soul mates of every kind.. whether they are true loves or members of our soul 'families'.. I am lost without my husband, Kevin. April, 1968--August, 2005. I love you..As you were moving through the veil, I held your hand and plunged for a mere moment into complete joy, which was given me so that I knew you experienced pure joy and peace. Songs like this express many deep emotions that I can't seem to put into words. I know you'll be waiting for me.
