Honestly I can’t speak for the Samyang at all, the Sony however I highly recommend, I absolutely love it!

I see you didn't have to press any focus mode at kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYa4qqt4hbF3r5Y. What focus mode are you using? And are you shooting in aperture priority?

I use aperture priority with a minimum shutter speed, auto ISO and back button focus, I mostly use continuous autofocus, whenever I want to do a panning shot I quickly switch to a manual ISO which in turn allows my shutter speed to lower, allowing me to quickly capture shots like this on the fly, I hope this helps!

Hey! I use auto white balance, because I shoot in 100% RAW. I can always correct it in post if necessary. In my opinion, unless your camera is incapable of shooting RAW, then it’s just an unnecessary step
