thanks, yeh it's interesting to think of the DFAM as a versatile sound source rather than just as a synth geared towards rhythm. The microcosm really helps to bring out this side

Sounds great 🎉 How did you figure out the set up? DFAM doesn’t have a midi connect , does it!?

actually I don't really use midi with the microcosm, but if needed to I'd sync the DFAM to clock with either the subharmonicon (which does take midi) or with midi to cv module

@@jeremyr529 in this video I'm just feeding the audio into the microcosm. I'm not syncing them together. I tend to do this with delay based affects preferring to rely on my ear for timing. Delays are nicer if they are ever so lightly out of sync, generally a bit slower. Gives a nice dub effect/shuffle

Microcosm also takes tap tempo, so you can get pretty darn close to dfam most of the time.
