It seems more efficient to upgrade Hats 100->200 *after* the 15T cupcakes and Fireworks 50, so as to coincide with the last "150 upgrades" task. Other than that, I think your progression is optimal!

I love your guides. I think it would be brill if you could add a bit suggesting how long the long extra tasks would take to complete simply because some of us are spendthrift and with no pots left its a balance of where to salvage any extra tasks without spending...I will have 400 pots on completion and am just 27 tasks away from upgrade and about 100 from archdruid frags. Thanks for your explanations and work. Very impressive

I made a truly fundamental mistake which slowed me down all day. I completely missed you setting shipyard and festival to level 3 almost immediately. Caught it just after I finally got fireworks to 14. Things sure sped up after that!

7:14 "it is very unlikely that you will need to complete towns this fast" [in under a day] ... Incorrect. You need to complete 19 or more towns within the 22 days of the event if you want to try get a complete Archdruid golden upgrade; so anyone aiming for that goal will need to try complete the towns that fast. (They will also need some luck with additional Pots of Gold from incidents, as I'm not sure there are enough Pots to pay for managers of that many towns otherwise.) Note that Inno have removed the Golden upgrade fragments from reward prizes after completing towns, so you can only get them from grand prizes (or from building a L9 Druid Hut).

@@MooingCatFoE That is true for most NORMAL people. There are a few of us no-life weirdos that will try to get the Archdruid golden upgrade (without the event pass) during the event though. It's a personal challenge.

With a BG level 67 you can get the last 50 fragments in less than 20 days. There's no reason to burn diamonds just for it.

@@joaofstock L9 Druid Hut gives 7fp (if motivated) and 1 Golden upgrade fragment. L67 BG gives a 64% chance of double rewards (we're assuming that it doubles fragments too). To get 50 more fragments, you'd need to collect from the Druid Hut (with BG bonus) for *30-31 days*, not 20 days. (I'm also assuming that you only have ONE L9 Druid Hut in your city). So, assuming that your alternative option is to collect from a L2 Terrace Farm (there are plenty of buildings that are better), it works out that collecting from the Druid Hut will cost you at least 96 forge points over that month (assuming the Druid Hut is always motivated - losses are worse if NOT motivated). Hm. Choices, choices.

@@davidbarry6900 you're right about the quantity. I forgot to add up the days that BG doesn't trigger 2x. However, even if I collect less FPs, the difference is meaningless. I wouldn't buy 200 FPs for 200 diamonds, for example, and considering that I'm not setting alarms during late night, much more than 200 diamonds are probably needed for the last 50 fragments. A few hours of GBG and I get thousands of FPs. About TFs, they are very bad buildings, they are huge, no attack bonuses, low FPs rate per tile. I don't have any since 2019, and if a player is levelling a BG in early game to get FPs, that's a big mistake. If in late game, then the mistake is having TFs in the city . With a possibility of 140 friends plus guildmates and neighbours, if someone still considering lack of aid, something is not right. Any player in that situation is most likely in need of savings diamonds. Edit: Yes, BG doubles fragments, we don't need to assume that, since all the fragments in the other buildings are duplicated when BG triggers.

I have been following your guides for the last 3 cities (I wish I had found this before starting any). Everything is good until leveling fireworks to level 14. Fireworks is VERY slow. Suggestions? Or is that normal?

Check your manager levels and of you have added all the levels you're supposed to, those are usually the reasons if things are feeling too slow :)

I still have several more quests to complete to get to 25. Like get to 200 upgrades etc. I’m at 19/25. I have all buildings and managers up to level. Something isn’t right or game has change. I watch your video and think I’m exact. Is there a spreadsheet that confirms this or what you suggest?

Check the description :) If something doesn't feel right, it's probably one or more of 1) you're looking at the wrong town, 2) you didn't level manager levels high enough, or 3) you forgot to level a building. Also, I wouldn't pay much attention to the task number for Grand Prize progress, if you click on the symbol next to the tasks you'll see how many you have completed in the current town.

In Section H of the WIP, on the 6/6 chests line - Do the numbers shown for each strategy tell us how many individual chests to open or how many times we should open all 6 at the end of a town? If the latter, in the 2 town strategy how can we open all 6 boxes 4 times if we only complete 2 towns?

How many times you should open all 6. After you have opened all 6 you can do it again for 2x the cost. We have enough pots to do that for those strategies :)

@@RogerStadler-fw6bx The first number is what is required for the strategy, so 2 times. However, with the free pots you are able to buy it up to 5 times, if you'd like some extra kits for next year. Alternatively you can use those pots for individual chests, without necessarily buying all. But you need to buy all 2 times at least :)

Hey MC, at around 5:60 you level your Shipyard first (as mentioned in your spreadsheet aswell). I am currently in the same stage and i am far more bottlenecked by the festival (thats why I am bringing festival up first). Is there any specific reason you do that? I am trying to MinMax the event, thats why I am curious about it.

By leveling shipyard a bit first you stockpile shamrocks on the western side, so by the time you have upgraded festival fully it will be able to collect at full rate for a while, making the final shipyard levels much quicker. If you level festival first it will run very inefficiently for a while until you get your shipyard up as well.

It depends on how many cities you want to complete. It's recommended to open only the free chest if there's no prize that you like in the list. He has a spreadsheet with the maximum number of chests for each number of cities. I will personally take only the free chest and run more towns, as inno removed the fragments of Archdruid upg from chests and more quests are needed to get it from the normal progress (at least 100 fragments seems reasonable with 14 towns)

Idk Man - not all works as you say, because other quests is better to complete faster and they are in different sequence from yours ,thats why my upgrades are different too.. just some upgrades match with yours..

Wow watching the time lapse from 10hrs to 14hrs. That lets u get yr festival & ship up to 300. Well it’s taking way longer than the 4hrs jump I see in the video. Way longer. And I’ve been following step by step. Unless yr using time skips which cost pots of gold. ??
