His defense saved this series. His bat didn’t show up, but when you’re in the dodgers lineup it’s not always necessary for your bat to be on fire. Defense is key in the playoffs and that showed with Betts.

I wouldn’t call Alex Verdugo a “nothing” player. He is going to be very good, especially in Fenway. It just all pales in comparison to Mookie. Verdugo will start sharing the pressure and criticism when Jeter Downs gets called up to play Shortstop. That will be an intriguing and exciting debut when (or if) it happens.

If the Dodgers didn’t have Mookie they would have for sure lost mookie saved so many runs that Freddie freeman homer it would have been 4:4 tied game that Ozuna error cost them a run. And another one of Freddie freeman’s line drive got robbed all that would have been tied game. Great series by the Dodgers and Braves I loved it.
