Cute granddaughter. She'll be riding it before you know it. My youngest grandson took about 10 minutes to get the hang of his bike after we took the training wheels off.

Yea she is a beautiful kid. She now has a little sister that is 4 months old. looks just like she did at 4 months. The kids have a friend who has a boy that is 6 months older than my granddaughter and that little dude is great on his strider.

I agree with you Bruce on the TK1. I don't just ride it to promote it, I ride it because I like to ride it
@RVEnthusiast9 ай бұрын
Its fun to ride, but I like riding all my bikes/trikes/scoots. like planes/train/automobiles. haha

It’s understandable my friend. We all get busy and sometimes we need to pay attention to “life”. Glad your back and good ride and review🚴

Thanks for the Vid..Have you taken the TK1 on Banks-Vernonia Trail?
@RVEnthusiast8 ай бұрын
I have not. It could do the climb for sure though.

Yeah I wish the tk1 folding one came with 7 speeds don’t like single speed
@RVEnthusiast9 ай бұрын
i like where the single speed sits in its size. as you can tell I got exercise when I needed to push it. Realistically, I think trikes fit a niche of people and typically that group does not have great leg strength. The single speed is easy to ride without power on flat surfaces for longer distances that most of my other e-bikes/Trikes

Bike can carry the weight. But how strong does the rider need to be. 😊
@RVEnthusiast9 ай бұрын
If the battery was charged it would be fantastic. Its very strong for a trike.

Bruce shouldn’t you be riding with traffic?😅
@RVEnthusiast8 ай бұрын
Mostly I did. Only on 1 street I went against it....easier to cross where I did than where traffic wouldd have been more dangerous to me.

Who pays the tickets for an 8 year old. Parent who allowed them to ride. A moving violation means something to a 16 year old and older. Illinois law is 16 for ebikes, no helmet required.
@RVEnthusiast9 ай бұрын
SAme person pays for the 16 year olds ticket. I think there is something to it, but don't know what the real solution is.
@garywillhoit9 ай бұрын
@@RVEnthusiast a ticket will raise parents insurance rates. They just went up 20% nationally .. in my home you pay your own insurance and tickets. Grandson opted for a plug in monitor to save lots of $ from his premiums. Kids won’t lobby to get the right to ride an ebike. Seldom see kids on any kind of bike on my local trail or in neighborhoods.

@@garywillhoit They say government and insurance companies always get their money. LOL. I hate paying my insurance, but I have been doing it since I was 17. Now I have lots of cars and things that need plates. even a trailer that I put on the road 1 time in 3 years. Insurance co has definitely made money on me, but do,t want to be without it. If they made us license ebikes I would have to get a dealer plate so I could use one plate on all the bikes. lol.
