I had a very toxic relationship with my mother, I had constant therapy because of both parents. Natal sun sq Saturn and moon sq Saturn - no love there… just criticism and coldness, guilt too.

I have my moon in my 8th house in Capricorn and over the years I've learned to embrace my emotions instead of hiding them. I've had to learn to turn my emotions from negative to positive ones by going inside of myself and facing them head on. And yes, it's true that I'm not getting along with my mother. There's a lot of fighting going on and it feels like she just doesn't understand me. Trust issues, true again. I've lost a lot of friends throughout the years, 'cause I was expecting too much. It's also true that I've been dealing with death since I was Little at came in touch with the paranormal at a very young, which was very disturbing for me. Now I'm obsessed with it and I often use it as a tool to make myself feel better when I'm upset. It's weird, but it works for me. I can shut off by dealing with the spiritual. But I guess my scorpio rising and pisces sun are also a great influence here. Thank you for your insightful video. It's always good to know that you're not a loner in this world and that there are people who feel the same way :)

Maybe just a problem for me :) I've always been feeling like my friends do not care as much about me as I do about them. Not getting back what I gave to them which makes me kinda feel unwanted or not worth it. I am now trying to accept that feeling, because I think it is true that you can not expect others to give them that much back to you in order to feel loved. Others may have a total different view on that subject and perceive it in a different way. But there's even the possibilty that my venus mars conjunction in aquarius squaring pluto makes me feel that way or both of it. Sorry for my English. I'm writing from Germany. :D

Hi Drowning Bliss- I live in Germany :) near Kaiserslautern area. Exactly what you shared about friendships and others in my life - I have felt the same way my whole life. I think it's my Jupiter conjunct Moon in 8th house. I have learned to not expect others to do what I do or be able to give the same way I give. It's a hard lesson to learn.

ShockOfTheNew - I expect a lot from my friendships too, it’s very very hard. I give a lot and I’m trying to work on not doing that because I expect a lot back! And it hurts badly. My relationship with my mother is also terribly painful, she doesn’t understand me and shames me a lot. Pluto in my 12th house makes it hard for me to get over pain - it takes ages and I can hold onto resentments so I try and work really hard on feeling my feelings which is intense pain! I usually end up chain smoking for 2-3 days to take the edge off the intensity. I have venus in Scorpio too, plus sun sextile Pluto and moon trine Pluto and Scorpio ascendant. I’m also neptunian - double whammy - v hard too. So you’re not alone

Thank you very much for this video I have an 8th house Sun and my son has an 8th house Moon and we don't really have a strong relationship and I always ask him what I have done to him to make him not want to have a relationship with me and he just stays away from me I always blamed myself for that and I ate a lot for that pain is like something that is missing and I just don't know why for the life of me he won't try to have a relationship with me I think that I raised him well I thought that I was a good mom to all of my children all of them I gave him all space to be independent and to learn themselves and to get into activities that were positive. Nice descriptions. I've got my Sun [conjunct AC] in the 12th and Moon in the 8th Houses, trine each other 1°... funny how much these themes manifest. My mother died young, and I constantly come across people sharing secrets with me, or struggles and I barely say anything more than a hello to many of them. And the whole emotions of extremes makes sense... the Moon is in Virgo, so I'm constantly analyzing all these things outside of the emotional state. Funny how when I first looked at astrology it was said I would be 'unemotional and cold' because of Capricorn/Virgo luminaries. Once you bring houses in the picture that can really turn things to a different direction.

Your channel was recommended to me by one of my subscribers. I have moon, Mercury and Ketu in the 8th house. I share so much of what you’ve experienced but there are marked differences as well. As a little child, I had this persistent thought that my family were all robots and I was the only ‘real’ human being. It gave me goose bumps to hear you mention something similar. I have always been fascinated by death but never, ever afraid of it. Another difference is that I’ve never been easy to take advantage of. I always know people’s intentions and avoid shady situations. The I was 34 when i found my soulmate 18 years ago. He’s a Scorpio sun and our connection is kind of ‘supernatural’. I wish I’d had the experience with maternal g’parents you describe. Paternal g’parents died when I was very young, maternal ones lived across the country and were emotionally detached and very poor. Mother issues are real. Mine manifested Paranoid Schizophrenia when I was around 5-6. No bond there at all. I’m very thankful for my life today and don’t like thinking about my childhood. I feel like I was an orphan and I raised myself. Thanks for this very interesting video. 🙏🏼

This is accurate! I absolutely hate this placement. I hate the sign of cancer. I hate emotions. Making decisions based on emotions is the worst thing. I try to use my logic as much as I can. I hate I cry all the time. It does nothing for me. It doesn't help me to heal. It's a bottomless pit of emotions that never heal and it holds you back. This describes a lot about me. Everyone in my family thinks I don't have very many emotions or anything. The fact is I don't show them because if I do I get questioned why I'm showing emotions. I do attract broken people. I was adopted. I'm so lucky I know my birth family. My sister has her moon in the 8th house as well. I can seen ghosts. I can feel spirits. One time I felt the presence of my uncle and smelled his scents as well and he has been gone for years. I can since significant amounts of psychic energy in my area as my home town was built next to an Indian tribe. There was an Indian burial ground not to far from my area. There was also Civil War activity around my area. I feels so mich darkness around my area almost so much that I get on edge if I go outside at night. Like I dont feel welcome here.

My Sagittarius moon in 8th 🏡 was laughing 😂 so true. I learned to just allow it and not try to hold it all. Cause it is watery so like cancer we can hold a lot of space. So become compelled from there own emotional experience . I tend to scream in pillows randomly 😂. I also tend to smile out of nervousness when I have confrontation I think it’s the intensity of the situation . I thrive during crisis though. I work in a crisis home and deal with chronic mental health patients who are aggressive and have had sent other people to hospitals even death. Yes this is all me and my moon and mars are conjunct in Capricorn in the 8th house. Plus I am a Scorpio. I keep it all in even if I am going to burst out crying. I keep it in untilI am sick. I get literally physically ill and I have to sleep a lot. People do not understand where I am coming from because I feel so deep. I totally agree with all you say. I am extra sensitive and take on other peoples problems too. I hate it sometimes it is a lot. My mother is fine but my mothers family were not there for me. My father's mother my grandma who also had a moon in Capricorn helped me financially in a big way. I also have premonition dreams. I tell my husband now so people believe me when I tell them about it if they come true. So many times I wish I had listen to my intuition and I do now. Thank you for this video. I loved it!!

2:32 Wow... That was me growing up as well. Ibwas like a raw wire. I would even see homeless people begging and started crying. The news had me paranoid for years. I had to stop watching it for a while it was too depressing. I would cry almost every single day! And I hated it when some of the people around me would come with, " you're too sensitive. " I've learned to channel that energy, and protect myself. It wasn't easy though, and having a Scorpio moon ( lots of Scorpio placement actually), didn't make it any easier.

Hello, Carmen.. I have Moon in Scorpio conjunct Pluto in 8th house. Sometimes I feel doomed. My Venus is in 12th house conjunct my ascendant, my Mercury is also in 12house, my North Node is in first house in Pisces… I am deeply emotional. I find comfort in classical music. Maybe this is why I wanted to be an opera singer - it was therapeutic for me. Videos like yours help me a lot. Still This Scorpio moon in 8th conjunct the Pluto is very often taking a toll on me. I often think I should become I psychologist… or some kind of a spiritual healer.

Yes I repress ALOT OF pain! Today on my way home in a cab I was in pain from a situation that happened and I felt it deep in my heart but I also felt something keeping the hurt from tryna come In like I built a plate or something smh It’s like a knife tryna slice thru but can’t bc of it but I felt the edge of the sword the tip of the swords tryna get In. I don’t feel normal sometimes I feel crazy! Intense! Strong! Sometimes want to end it all cause I feel it’s too much but I love my darkness . Not darkness but my darkness everything that has made me , me being in the 8th house, 8th house stellium, I love this feeling . I feel deep emotional pain and wow yes everything with parents smh. I gotta go!!!!!! This is all to relatable wow

I did change website but all the articles are there now in the blog section 🙏🏻🌹 I’ll be adding more Right now it’s an intense time for people with 8th house placements because of the Taurus - Scorpio eclipses we had in Oct and Nov Hang in there much change and rebirth and old pain coming up to be healed Your experience you mentioned having flashbacks have you done any type of healing energy work or got a session or talked to a counselor who has trauma techniques it would help with these experiences and emotions I have spoken to many people lately and including myself and things I thought I had healed have been popping up to look at I have felt very sensitive and understand what you feel I’m a 8th house moon There could be transits impacting you now too Hang in there your strong ❤️🌹🙏🏻

It’s like I can’t heal from the past as badly as I try or want to. So much pain around my dad my mom even myself and how I’ve neglected myself throughout the Years feeling undeserving of love - practicing self hatred . always keeping the focus outside of myself to avoid the loud music in my head and body. All the pain I feel in my body. I feel everything so much that’s it’s affecting me physically. And My gma kept telling m to go to counseling and I haven’t . I need to go for my trauma. I use to think I was so emotional and craZy that I needed to get on antidepressants . But I know it’s not that. I also have a lot of body issues as well.. that has also created the person I am today. I love how you talk so accurately about the 8th and 12th houses. They're such strange houses I feel like to truly understand them you have to have a planet in one (or both). I have venus in the 12th and moon (gemini) in 8th. Moon square mercury, moon trine venus. Literally everything you talked about in this video rings true for my 8th house moon (And even some stuff you didn't talk about). I used to think venus 12th was a hard placement but without a doubt moon in the 8th is a life sentence. Luckily as you say it comes with benefits, if it didn't I'm not sure how we'd survive. I've found being psychic and able to sense things about people are especially beneficial. One event in my life really stands out to me: When I was 16, my mother stole my diary. It was summer and I'd fallen asleep on the couch. When I woke up it was like my mind was flooded with an image of my diary and I was so compelled to go look for it that I got off the couch without even thinking about what I was doing. Walking up the stairs it was like someone else had taken over. I fully expected to find my diary right where I left it, tossed on the bed. I walked in my room and looked. It wasn't there, but still I wasn't convinced. It took 10 minutes of searching before a light went on and I realized someone had taken it. I get the precognitive dreams too, and strong impressions. I had some neighbors move into the apartment below me last year. One day while using my computer in my room I could hear them talking and smoking through my window. Out of nowhere I got the impression one of my neighbors was sick. I looked up from what I was working on and thought 'she's sick. There's something very wrong'. And then went back to what I was doing.There'd been a lot of discussion about her husband from other neighbors with rumors he was a drug dealer, but no one had ever said anything about her and I remember thinking how strange it was for me to think she was sick. A few months after I had that flash of intuition she tried to kill herself and it turned out she had a long history of mental illness. I also sometimes tear up when ambulances go by. One goes by and I feel a wave of sadness and then it goes away again and I feel fine. It's so strange.

Thank you Carmen for a very insightful video on Moon in the 8th house. I also wrote you on your video about Chiron in the 8th, but seeing this, I feel the need to ask you again. My son has Moon conjunct Chiron in the 8th house. I must admit I get very anxious hearing about this tendency to have a disharmonious relationship to mother. I'm very interested how to avoid conflict with my son with this placement. I do fear doing something that will make him feel hurt og doubtful of my love for him. He is only just a baby for now, still I struggle with these thoughts. Despite this placement of the moon, he has venus in the tenth house and taurus on mc (which I understand represents the mother). So in this light, it would seem that venus also is very prominent in his relation to me. I my self have moon in the 9th house in cancer, also venus and mars conjunct in 10th house cancer but opposite neptune/uranus. I do feel like I should have good ressources to make him feel loved and secure with my cancer energy. But this moon/chiron/8th house energy makes me question. Anna Miilmann Orlowicz Thank you for writing- I have Moon conjunct Chiron in 8th It’s a blessing and curse it’s more pain through love and people hurting him emotionally As a parent it’s good if you can teach him that others will be drawn to his energy and to him for help and for him to learn boundaries and that he does not have to take on everyone else’s problems He will be drawn to counseling and like helping others but many will take advantage of his kindness You can prepare him for this and teach him how to say No and not allow others to drain his energy or use him ❤️🙏🏻🌹
