I'm Aquarius Moon, and a good way to describe us is this. It's like a map and a compass. Our emotions are like a compass, they point us in a direction. Our ideas or thoughts are like the map to get there. So, we may be thinking or pondering something but it's always from an emotional motivation. For instance, I want my friend to feel better, rather than just feel terrible with them, I'll put the sympathetic feelings onto my little compass, and use my thoughts to guide me to an action or behavior that will help. Another way to look at it, is that our thoughts are like an engine, and our emotions are like the fuel. We feel things, and very intensely sometimes, but those feelings to into our mind, and fuel creativity and ideas. Aquarius Moon's thoughts are powerful, but they go nowhere without the gasoline of our emotions.

Aquarius Moon people find it hard to be "out there" with their true deeper feelings. It is safer to be friends with someone where there is any uncertainty at all. Even if we really care for someone deeply does not mean we feel safe in fully opening up to that person, so being friends is a way to have them in our lives without losing our innate need for freedom.

It is really well expressed, the part about corporate culture; I have Moon in Aquarius and I run away from team building and other similar things because it has always struck me as superficial, which is inherently, it’s really just how it is... Okay, as a Moon & Venus in Aquarius active from the first house, I have an answer to the 'emotional aloof' trait. We don't necessarily suppress our emotions, but what happens is our emotions can burst out, quite suddenly, at the most inappropriate times. We are like a dam that holds all the emotional baggage underneath, closing it down, so that we don't ever have to look at it or even think about it, but when the right buttons are pushed, it all comes out, shocking everyone around us.

This is scary accurate :) Thank you so much. You're right, I love to shock others. You understand that the whole corporate concept of "up with people" is so annoying! Authenticity is more important than cheerfulness. I work as a court reporter, very independently but with people so it's kind of perfect for me and it's a job very few others can do and that was an attraction for me. Plus, working independently and in a different location every day keeps me challenged and not bored. Funny about detachment. I view people who are overly emotional or high strung as childish and attention-getters. I consider myself "professional" haha. Maybe I should just let my emotions show? I'm glad your moon is in aquarius because you understand. I only recently learned about moon signs and they're so much more important than sun signs. I didn't realize, but I know I never felt squarely much like a Taurus except for stubbornness and love of the good life. :) How can I find my rising sign? My sun is Taurus. Thank you again.

Yes totally the same, I rarely cry but if I do I am extremely hurt and things are very bad. Aqua moons are very emotionally stoic and can detach from the emotions to a point. We are definitely not as overtly emotionally expressive as other moon signs.

I have my sun and asc in Leo and moon in Aquarius but I feel like I get super attached easily and I am super emotional but I did feel different growing up like I didn't belong anywhere and I am very humanitarian tho... It's interesting, I stumbled onto this video in looking for information on someone else I know. I'm a Scorpio moon, but what you said about Aqua moons having trouble with groups and needing their individuality is totally me! I'm Cancer sun and Aquarius moon. I have strong emotions and caring but like my own space most of the time. I do a lot of deep thinking. I like friends that are dependable but who allow me plenty of space. When I am with other people I'm sociable, and like to chat. People seem to like being with me but I have a tenancy to push some sway if they get too close. I'm not keen on romantic relationships/marriage because I'd find them too restrictive. I always thought I was selfish in a way, although not intending to be. I wan't other people when it suits me. Wow, I can relate to you I have always been very sensitive to other people's energies and emotions, I am an Empath and for me although my Moon is on 22degrees of Aquarius, I have Neptune in the 1st house which creates a similar situation for me, I have had to learn techniques to shield myself psychically over the years and I have had to realize that I can not be around others with very dark or harsh energies as it leaves me very depleted.

I'd say you have a strong unconventiality about you BUT perhaps with your facade in some way you are very no nonsense with people when you first meet them, you probably dont waste time with people unless you feel you would connect with them in a real way. I would also say that you may be a bit of a loner also. Cap rising can be quite cut off from others especially with Aquarius placements, but of course depends on the rest of your chart, houses and aspects.

yeah I hear what you are saying I think Aquarius Moons and Scorpio Moons are the most misunderstood moon signs. People do not understand how I enjoy time alone as much as I do, I am always busy doing something even if it is just taking time out for mental space. I am not surprised you said you are confused; that is sometimes a side effect of having strong Pisces energy. That said, what I would say is that you are capable of tuning into higher levels of wisdom that come upon you through non traditional methods. You may have flashes of insight prophetic dreams etc. You may be highly intuitive and creative, unique and empathic yet capable of feeling completely detached at times. It is contradictory and I myself have a contradictory Sun and Moon also!

Tania maya Uranus in the 4th means there was something unique or different about your family and upbringing for some reason this issue can cause you to feel uptight about your vocation in life. With Aqua Moon cusping into the MC, looks like your career will have to be something unique to you, probably not happy with mainstream career (depending on other factors and aspects in your chart.) With your Moon close to the MC, dealing with the public and being out there with what you do will bring you rewards in your career.

I can totally relate Sarina. I have Scorpio Rising, Taurus Sun and Aqua Moon, Mars in Leo and Venus in Taurus, I dont even have the Gemini influence and I constantly struggle with what I feel I need versus wants etc. I also have Sun Square Moon aspect so yes I feel your pain on that. I do feel it gets somewhat easier as you get older, like mid to late 30's than it was in the 20's though.

what you said about moon in pisces makes a lot of sense, my aqua moon is on the pisces cusp, so i get lost in others emotions as my own. it's like a fight... part of me wants to "merge" like the pisces, the other wants to stay detached. i literally feel the two fighting as strong opposing waves, when i interact w/ ppl. plus im so strong on clairsentience, which is the hardest of the "clairs" to manage, that it is so hard to "sheild". have you heard of, aquarius' being Indigo souls? thx 4 ur vid!

I'm a Scorpio Sun/ Aquarius Moon / Pisces Rising and I feel like a storm of emotions and thoughts sometimes🌪 The way I can cut off emotions (although I sit there and still think about it) and begin and end relationships is rather crazy to me. I was married and the moment I said I do, I felt "boxed in". I have sense gotten a divorce and have dated some, however; I'm not messed up by divorce. I do however wonder when and if I will get married again, say what you will; people change going into marriage. Lol, perhaps it was me feeling like I was boxed in; though I suspect it has a lot to do with watching how my parents/grandparents marriage looks. Great video though! As an Aquarius Moon it is normal to feel different. I wouldnt be worried about him having an Aquarius Moon, it is quite a good moon sign to have. Scorpio Moon is in fall and would be harder if he had that moon sign (harder for males with Scorp. Moon than females.) I think focusing on what feels a real connection to in this life and encouraging that slowly may help. As a child I did rebel but because the rest of my chart is fairly stable, I knew my limits. I love reading biographies, and I've read bio's of 5 of the most famous lawyers in the country, and the air signs predominate, not just Aquarius. In the legal field, may the best arguer win! Aquarius has a tendency to take a contrarian view, no matter what facts they're facing. I don’t know what you want to fix? Aquarius moon is not a negative placement. It could be anything else in his chart or the dynamics between your chart and his. These issues are usually karmic things that both souls are trying to work through. I’d say it’s not productive to look at trying to fix your child. It’s best to continue to try to understand them instead.

@@StarlightOracle i totally agree .. out of frustration I am sarcastically posted it.. his moon in Aquarius in 3rd house no planets on both sides .. and his chart except 11th house all the planets are placed isolated in their position.. no connections. This makes me to worry if he face bad phase it could be very bad and if good can be very good too. My chart I see mostly group of 3 in everywhere .. he is 20 now and wonder how his future going to be with his non socializing behavior. 😨

It depends what house the Aquarius moon is in but yes they tend to be loners as they tend to have more unique life perspectives and dont related with everyone.

Well i´m sorry! My last comment is out of context...i tried to split a large question in three and went this way! I wrote asking you about an aquarius moon trine Venus and Pluto, and square Mars aspects The second thing was that in vedic astrology "they" consider moon more important than sun in the description of the personality, with no disregard of the whole birthchart. Describes ones mentality(not inteligence - mercury), reactions, world´s perception, etc...what´s your opinion?

Wow you will probably need to accept that he is going to be much more of a controller and more willful than yourself. Depending on other factors in his chart like his Venus and aspects to his moon (this will tell you more about his ability to compromise with you) and his willingness to learn from you within the relationship. Scorpio RIsing is VERY stubborn adding Aries Moon to that, phew you have one stubborn man on your hands. That said, please look to where some other softer elements come into his chart, such as aspects from Neptune, water houses (other than the 8th house) or aspects from Venus or Jupiter for a bit more openness. I can understand your standoffs being pretty hard core, because his stubborness is so deeply rooted. Let me know if you see anything in his chart that shows some softness.

ayeshia brown Oh wow and with his Leo Sun with Scorpio Rising and Aries Moon, yikes he really has a need to be admired and praised and to see who he really is on a deep level, he would thrive on appreciation for what he does and who he is. Unfortunately Leo Sun and Aries moon can be quite self centred energies, by their natures they tend to feel the world revolves around them. That said, look for those things I mentioned previously to find the softer side that is more compromising.

im a leo with an aquarius moon, i feel like my very being contradict itself on a daily basis and its extremely frustrating at time. one of the biggest issue i have is feeling lonely. its unbearable. for my young age, i find it hard to settle down because i think older than my age grouping. and my peers are in the young adult stage.. ugh

they say that but i really think aqua-moons are a special case, were respect our minds and isolation way to much for many other signs to put up with. I read a long time ago that ideally you would want your moon to be your mates sun sign so your mind understands their heart and likewise. That being said i have yet to date aquarius yet, which could possible be a good fit for me but they tend to hide themselves and make you jump through hoops to get close to them so, i took a year off from dating.

I fell ridiculously hard for an Aquarius sun, that also had moon, mercury mars conjunct in aquarius. with scorpio rising, venus in aries, and a pluto oppose venus aspect to boot. We were naturally attuned to irritate each others deepest wounds, while being drawn to each other. Painful attraction that was. This helps me understand her point of view more....
