I’m so happy he’s getting some recognition! BAP is amazing minus one member we don’t talk about 😗. If you have a chance, I recommend listening to them though they have some of those early 2010s kpop songs (gotta love a whole group as blondes) but an amazing dancer nonetheless and performer!

Yes! Please watch Peak Time after you finish I-Land. I watched Peak Time while it aired along with Boys Planet and it was such an amazing show. You can really feel how badly so many of the groups just want to perform and grow. There were so many talented groups and individuals who I want to root for so badly. My faves were DKB, Vanner, ATBO, MASC, MONT, Ghost9, Xiwoo of 24K and Moon Jongup. I only knew ATBO going into the first episode and fell in love with so many of them. They gave such amazing performances.

It was so fun 😂 I just wanted to mention that 'Drench it,' might not be accurate translation for the whisper 😅 "흠뻑 젖어 가" can be interpreted in various ways, but for this song, a more accurate translation would be "Diving deeply into the mood" or "Soaking the mood all in." He's not giving a command but expressing his own state of feeling. The use of "가" in Korean can sometimes be used as a command, but in this context, it signifies the present progressive tense, indicating his ongoing experience. I believe that is where the translator got confused. Even if it was used as a command, it should have been translated as "Let's dive into the mood." I understand it's a sexy song, but the English lyrics make it appear more explicitly sexy than it sounds in Korean. Interestingly, for those who understand Korean, it's even possible to interpret the song as being about dancing in the moonlight. Of course, dancing can have various meanings, though 🤭

I also think that you guys should watch Peak Time, it was a unique take on survival shows. For the boys who auditioned as individuals (like Jongup) Taesun from Fantasy Boys auditioned too. He didn't make it into team 24 so he did Fantasy Boys, but it was so interesting to see him. If you don't watch the whole Peak Time show you should watch a compilation of the performances and react/rank them it would be so good. Especially the dance they did when they combined teams and it was Vanner, BAE173, Team 24 (Jongup) dancing as well.
