Moth Flight's Vision is so strange. The nursery is meant to be a place of support, and even without kits medicine cats would have mixed loyalties and priorities. She's such a tragic and frustrating character.

The way I cried reading Moth Flight's book. I know she made the Medic code to keep others from what happened to her but I wish she'd been able to raise her kits longer than she was allowed. I mean she even visited Blue Heart and helped with her kitting which also broke my heart thinking about Leafpool and Yellowfang

I would partially agree, but the thing is.The clans have changed so much since her time, There is cats were able to take care of the kittens when they're not there And it's not as easy for them to escape as in her times So if you like at first it was kind of trying to protect them, but as it went on? It just became a greiving response of "If I couldn't be happy with mine? No cat can." Not on purpose, just holding onto old rules

@@duck6994tbh i think that’s what makes her an even better character, because she was manipulated by Starclan and made their puppet, she was young and naive so she didn’t know what to do, then perhaps when she’d lived longer or even after going to Starclan realised what she had missed out on, and how she’d been manipulated by the group of cats she had trusted for so long. That could have made her bitter and angry on the life she could’ve had, but missed out on, and i think she might still uphold those same silly rules because of the guilt she feels for following them, and for enforcing them, so it’s just better to deny she’s doing any harm and pretend to herself that she’s simply helping other medicine cats from going thru what she did. When u think abt it, she’s actually such a complex character, whether that was intended or not

@@Zeonixi Exactly!!! Now that's some good story telling, I like to think of her, with this, moreso like a tragic villian yk? Someone who did not make their bed, but yet they must still sleep in it That could actually make a really cool Au of possibly dead Leaf trying to help solve this issue for Mothflight with that one trial she had with them, liberate herself and Mothflight from the horrid issues Starclan has brought who are likely just as flawed Thank you for this perspective and reply!! You really did get me thinking deeper on this, and I appreciate that /pos /srs

I cried reading the book, but for other reasons. I cried when wind runner had yelled at her or something, I don’t know why I cried then, but it might have something to do with how it relates with me

THANK YOUUUU for making this. moth flight is one of my favorite characters, and i feel like people see her giving her kits away as nothing more than an illogical decision when in actuality she was just a young, inexperienced woman who was forced to take the role of starclans puppet to lay down their rules. she is so sad to me and it sucks to see people not realize how utterly depressing it is that starclan basically groomed her mind and made her into the first “example” of what happens when a medicine cat falls in love. wonderful work!

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD SONG WITH MOTH!! I quite a few problems with the book, tho I haven’t read it, but I LOVED THISSSS (I also find it kind of annoying and or slightly funny how SO MANY people forget that Moth Flight is spelt like ‘Moth Flight’ and not ‘Mothflight’)
