Stayed there many times. The sunrise section is our favorite. After staying at other all inclusives I can honestly say Moon Palace puts the others to shame.

Stayed in Sunrise earlier this year and it was great, in fact the whole property was great and I would have no hesitation in recommending it. Really don’t understand why you had such a bad experience…

@tbgsport Thanks for commenting. We don't either.. The property came highly recommended to us. One of the managers said that they were severely understaffed last summer. I'm not sure if that was the case but either way, everything from service to food and entertainment were below par for us.

I just visited sunrise in 1st week of march and ut was amazing experience. My wife and kid already asking me to go back again next year.

We have gone to Moon Palace 20 times... August will be our 21st..... NEVER had these kinds of issues...

Thanks for watching the video and commenting. I wish we didn't have those issues. I had so much hope for this resort but we and our nine other family members were very disappointed. Maybe we will try The Grand at some point.

Is the moon palace the grand and the moon palace sunrise the same place am not sure cause the names are similar

They are on the same property but completely different. Sunrise and Nizuk are considered Moon Palace. The Grand is more expensive and much higher end. You can get a day pass to the Grand for $99pp. You also can't eat at any of their restaurants unless you are staying there or have a day pass. If you are staying at the Grand, you can use all three properties.

Thanks for your comment Noah! We went on the recommendation of others who had been there. When we asked why service was so bad we were told that they can't find enough employees who want to work. I have been to the moon palace many times don’t believe her because this place is better than a lot of places in cancun

We're members there. We have been for years. Every year we do the tour for 375 universal credits. So they are basically paying us 375 dollars to do the tour with our sales person we've always dealt with so it's like seeing a friend for breakfast every year. 🙂.

Glad you are able to enjoy the property. Maybe if we were staying at the Grand, we would have had a different experience. Members of our family did the tour. They received 500 URCs...When they used them on tours, it cost them another $300.

@solshinetravel Wow. That seems like a lot. As members we don't pay that much I know that for sure. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We've been there more times than I can count and there have been certain things we don't like, but overall it's been worth the money we have spent.
