Very accurate. This is the strongest aspect in my natal chart. I have a very unpredictable childhood. Father absent through working and very detached. Mother was unstable and eventually taken into care and then my mother died tragically. As an adult I struggle with attachment issues due to never really trusting my own feelings. I love the beginning of a relationship where things are unsure, but when things start getting serious I usually mess up and end things. Hard to keep connections with people where I’m so independent and crave my time to myself. Probably trying to analyse my feelings which I don’t quite understand. Great at brainstorming and problem solving, and I’m not a follower, nor a leader either. Not bothered by trends or fitting in. Wish I didn’t detach my feelings, early childhood and this aspect makes it so hard, I feel lonely sometimes, but at the same time don’t want to hurt anybody either. Not a cheater, but had a fair short lived relationships. So hard to open up to others and stay consistent. I have a history of substance abuse - escapism tendencies. Glad I’ve overcome that about me. I blame this aspect on a lot of my adhd traits also. Long distance relationships is most suited to me, with someone who is also independent and logical minded. Emotional men freak me out. Much regret for all the relationships I’ve destroyed, impulsiveness and detachment really sucks. If someone behaves controlling towards me I run a mile. Let me be me.. hope someone can love me and have a stable relationship one day… I crave the closeness and intimacy so much yet I fear it at the same time. I joke with my best friend that I’m just not that deep. Unlike her Scorpio dominant. Sorry for the rant. Love this and that you have the aspect too. Dig deep into your emotions and restless nature 👌

This definitely resonates. Like someone else who commented here, I also had a traumatic childhood, which I think caused me some attachment issues. I've done a lot of emotional work. It also helps if you have a partner who needs freedom and also needs intimacy, that way you both respect that about each other and are good about meeting each other's emotional needs.

I currently have a close friend of mine marked "suspect" because he's been popping off sideways as of late. I laughed so hard when you mentioned this. Although I believe I'm justified for acting as such. I always give people the benefit of the doubt and overlook certain things, so when something starts to jump out at me I really can't take it lying down anymore. Lol I have this aspect and I have packed up and moved out without an notice couple of times. Never saw the purpose of announcing my plans of departure. Mostly to avoid the unnecessary “back and forth bs”. Plus it’s more peaceful to just remain silent and leave, than to deal with the emotional immaturity of nonsense. I absolutely dislike needy , clingy people who’re jealous anxious, paranoid, suspicious and controlling. If someone tells me “you can’t do that, or they try to impose restrictions and limitations on my freedom and privacy”. I will try at first but eventually, like you said “I give second chances”. However that doesn’t mean that I’m naive and gullible even though people often believe that’s why I gave them a second chance. Little do they know that I’m watching you and I will never hesitate too be out of that dysfunctional narcissistic controlling bs! In an heartbeat without an notice! So accurate. I myself absolutely do detach. For me once I have made up my mind, things can never ever be the same again. And I was born in East Africa, grow up in Sweden but I live in California now! True again, my 4th house is aquarius, pops was unemotionally available, strict and structured, mom was flighty, unemotional and abusive. I adapted to that became quiet, she deemed me anti social i simply knew i was my best interest. Im a venus aquarius and struggle emotionally detachment is my safe place

The instability comes from instability in childhood and learning that their needs weren’t being met and they had to grow up too fast and take care of themselves. No substance addiction here. I do need attachment in intimacy. I think you need to look at all placements & aspects. For me when I’m done is if someone betrays me. I have the sesquisquare not the full square so maybe it manifests a little differently. I totally agree with the cumulative chances and when you’re done you’re done.
