Another great video of a different type of astroscapes. I love the tip about the elastic band! Thanks again Andrew.

Another fine little episode sir. There were indeed some cracking full moon sets this month especially with the Belt of Venus. Working 24 hour shifts gives me a chance to see this stuff and get paid at the same time. 😁 If the lighting is bright enough, I try to get a manual reading of white balance with a Grey Card. But only if I remember.

Lovely. If the intervalometer is set to zero for exposure length, and the camera is set to bulb, how is the exposure speed arrived at, presumably the Intervalometer must have a default setting? Anyway it worked beautifully. I would also like to know about the software you used. You are so good at the early rising and late nights and getting right out into the countryside, I do my sessions between 9pm and 10.30 in our own rural garden, and that feels quite adventurous enough. I admire your determination and focus (pun!).

Andrew you have a knack of making this look so easy! Great end result. Did I see on lcd screen that exposure was 1/50 second? Did you use Photoshop to stitch together or other software to make timelapse video. Thanks

Yeah could keep the exposure short as It was light, and yeah i used photoshop to stitch the pictures together in a timelapse :)

I assume that the time lapse pictures are captured at JPGs, otherwise white balance could be corrected in post when taken as a raw image.
