Wonder what they think looking back at this if they have seen it, I would love to know there thoughts....One thing that bothers me...When i was in school if u wasn't a cheerleader, football player or your family had money u was a nobody...If u were over weight u were a nobody and i notice on most of these videos there is no over weight person to be seen...Thats the only think I hated in the 80s, if u didnt fit in any of these people u were looked at different....I always took up for these kids..they were no different then anyone else...It was all about looks , sports the way u dressed and money...Thats my only bad memory...

The eighties were my late teens and twenties. Such a wonderful time to be young. America was in great shape and Americans were very happy. The metal and concerts of the day were true events to experience. They will never ever be the same or even come close. I remember them like they were yesterday, I miss them like they were a 1,000 years ago. God-bless the eighties nation. God's favorite decade.

Bring back memories, We hang out with friends, Great to see the hairstyles, We actually talked to each other, When we said met you at .... Mall, outside the school or whatever place. People kept their words. Walking through the halls and getting your books from your lockers. Going to school events was awesome. The gym classes were fun because we had sports (even had swimming classes) and had fun. Do you all remember we had elective classes that we decide? Let's not forget the rock concerts and rocking to the Scorpions, Dokken, Metallica, We had part-time jobs either get them by the school program or you go and work at the store. So many things to write. We had a great time with everyone. For those growing up as teenagers right now. You hear your parents talk about this era and seeing videos and our music. Thank you for those great comments, You all can change, Call a friend and spend time with them, Stop Texting and stop spending to much time on social media, Seek your friendships and make memories with them. Then 30 years from now, You all can say we did it like the '80s Yeah To everyone reading this from the 80's we made it happened. Ps. On a personal note, The Scorpions are in the recording studio cutting their new record. A great rock band from Germany. I took German for several years and thank God I did. I took my daughter to see the band several times already, She loved the band.

Hello friend from another time!! I graduated in 91 so Im totslly familiar with the era. God do I miss those days!!! My thing was the mall and arcades!! Who ever is reading this comment, Please adhear to what this man is saying about getting away from the social media. try it for a day!! go outside and explore whats around you!! you never know what youll miss if your nose is always in the phones and the computers!! I used to LOVE to go out and ride my bike without telling my mom where i was going!! Sometimes i left and she didnt even know i was gone. Id leave before she even got up in the morning!! Just the freedom of getting out and exploring!! Its an awesome feeling!!! Im older now and my body wont allow me to do those things anymore but Im glad i did when i did!! Oh and part of the reason my hearing is shot is because while i rode my bike I wore A thing called a walkman!! It was a portable music device that played cassette tapes. Kids of today have no idea what im talking about lol. Look up Sony walkman!! youll see!! god the 80s music. Ive got a collection still of what i used to listen to and still to this day i listen to it! People look at me like I have 2 heads lol but I dont care@!! You can take the person out of the 80s but youll NEVER GET THE 80S OUT OF THE PERSON!!

Growing up in the early 90s I remember a ton of the adults wore this exact hair and wore these styles so it’s weird seeing that those were high schoolers because back then they seemed like towering adults to me. People seemed much happier back then. They’re all smiling and pumped (including the hair). Now all the kids are looking down at their phones. They seem sad. I know I’m on mine right now, but I like to put it away when I’m in a room with people. Like at a waiting room, I try to strike up a conversation and forget about my phone. I didn’t have a smartphone until 2015. The only thing I don’t miss is losing someone and not being able to get in touch with them. Now that’s so much easier. I didn’t really live then, but I can say for sure The 80s rocked!

Having been born in 95 I'm like in the middle between the 80's kids and the current crop. Hands down the 80's kids look much healthier, cleaner and they look like they're having a lot of fun compared to today's kids who seem very detached from reality. It's weird...but I wish I had been a teen in the 80's. Looks awesome!

Fun days, Fun Days ...time waits for no one, Hours are like diamonds don't let them wast. If your young be crazy, have respect, but live it up, do as much as possible, something you can look back at and say...Yeah, I did do that didn't I, lol, A margage, Rent , bills and someone calling you Dad or Mom puts an end to all that. Two things is all you need: Just have fun why"ll your young and later make sure you start making a happy life for later, later. keep it simple, key to life(Lol) happiness and someone to share it with, someone that you know as you're back, and you have theirs your unstoppable, and you get their by always being honest , always. Remember Memories of a man in his old age are the deeds of a man in his prime.
