The two hardest things about target shooting are deep focus and breath control. Everyone knows Mamamoo members have best breath control in their industry. @@jimschuler8 You can honestly have an extremely elevated heart rate, and still make good shots as long as your grip and trigger fundamentals are squared away. I've taken a few classes where they have us running around from cone to cone. Without thinking about dumping out air in my lungs, I can still make effective hits on target within 7 to 10 yards. It's easier said than done-- if you can make the shot break without disturbing your sights, then the round will go where your point of aim is.

This is 100% not true, the most important thing when shooting especially a pistol is not breathing. The #1 thing is proper griper, and then it's trigger control. I basically shoot for a living (competitive USPSA, IPSC, PSCL shooter). The #1 thing on being accurate and shooting is grip and trigger control, not breathing.

@@Tragicide probably that's how they do it in korea for safety reasons. Prevent aiming elsewhere other than downrange. Hopefully the gun range employees told her about the rules of gun safety, but it is not shown in the video.

@@danieljungshoots Exactly. Shooting can be distilled into 3 critical items: Grip the gun firmly, point the gun at what you want to hit, and pull the trigger without the sights moving. Easy to understand and hard to master, especially at speed.

Fun Facts! Women take to shooting in a way that borders on "supernatural". Once bitten by that bug... ...they can only improve. Also: If a fellow is prideful he should avoid making shooting (or fishing) a matter of personal competition with his lady. His pride will be injured.

Picking up shooting is not hard, I'm a competitive shooter and my wife and kids picked up shooting in matter of minutes. When I met my wife back in 2011 I already shooting in leagues called USPSA, IPSC, 3 Gun, and when I took my wife to the gun range for the first time, she was able to pick it up in matter of minutes. Now was she accurate, no but no one will be 100% accurate, but she was able to learn the fundamentals and safety in matter of minutes.

Think about the time it took her to shoot and her accuracy rating, now imagine trying to shoot a moving target that is shooting back at you, that’s where you find out whether or not you’re a good shooter. @@joebungus3447 Moot point. Anyone on a first trip to the range is going to have to overcome allot to reach the level you are speaking of. [Even seasoned shooters have bad days.] This is average, yes. However it is a "high-average" performance. Not bad at all. I have seen MUCH worse; from people who SHOULD BE more accustomed to the weapons.

Naturally gifted athlete. I have known a couple of people like her in my time. INSANELY lucky the first time they try anything... But the next time might not be quite as good even if they practice. We already know that Byul-yi is a really hard worker so when she finds something that she loves, she doesn't quit practicing before she masters whatever it is. One more thing to appreciate about her is her level of commitment, which makes her a true professional. :)

@@jamescurfman3284 Agreed :D I just couldn't help thinking of her golf episode, though :'D Your comment about not being as good the next time even if they practice sticks in my mind. We know that she gives up easily if she's discouraged by her inability the first few times. If she doesn't improve the next time she actually tries to continue one of the hobbies she's decent at, like tennis or gunnery, I wonder if she'd be able to persevere, since she's not crazy disciplined like Solar, for example.

She is an anamoly in the shooting world. Right hand dominant, while she's Left eye dominant, "Cross-Fire" as it's known. To be able to perform that well, with no training, you have to be a natural shooter, very impressive.

I think it’s awesome she did this! I would encourage everyone to visit a gun range (if there’s one available near you). If it’s your first time, get with an instructor to teach you proper gun safety and how to handle a gun. Many people are scared of guns, however (like driving), if you are properly trained, it doesn’t become scary anymore. My biggest tip to you all, and Moonbyul, never put your finger on the trigger until you’re ready to pull it (fire). Even if the gun is empty (no bullets), it’s good to practice as this is the most important safety item of all!
