I’ve got a mate in a big rock band, I’m talking stadiums and he says every live act plays to a backing track “ the industry joke name for it is : track 9” it’s because the younger audiences are so used to the heavily produced sound of modern albums( multi tracked instruments, vocals, FX etc), it’s sounds too thin live. It’s a shame..

When people talk about Great White one word comes up a lot. UNDERATED! I have been a fan since the beginning. Jack Russell is on another level great ,man what a voice! Mark Kendall is another one who doesn’t get enough credit. His guitar playing is tasteful when it needs to be and lethal at the right time. So much better than some of the more popular 80’s bands. So much better! When I’m on a road trip and listen to Great White it’s a time machine👍

So true. Honestly, aside from all the, he said, he said....yawn, crap, Who the hell can sing like that? Jack , to me has one of THE most recognizeable voices of the late 80's early 90's that is so unique. It stands on its' own. The rest is just the same rock and roll story we've all heard from so many bands. pure talent, however unfortuantley lost in a haze at the bottom of a bottle or the drugs that were readily available. I ran into this band because the bar I was working on Maui in 87',someone had forgot their cassette with " Rock Me" on my bar as I was cleaning at night. Never heard of them. I was hooked after that. Had to buy "Once bitten" as well. Was that the name of the follow up? Just great straight forward rock and roll with an unforgettable voice.

And I did get the opportunity and privilege of seeing them live once in Ft Wayne Indiana at the Ft Wayne Memorial Coliseum with Tesla, and both bands really delivered!!!! But as everyone else has been saying here, Great White I is absolutely one of the very best in rock music history, and nobody will ever be able to match the talents with this lineup!!! R.I.P. @@jimthar17 Great White is kinda known for doing a couple covers, And back then they didn't have a "big following" really, they were on their Once Bitten tour, opening for GNR, so I think they wanted to play a couple songs everyone knew to be remembered after that night, and their cover of Since I've been loving you, was the biggest hit of the night, that led them on to be able to do the Great Zeppelin show/cd. So sorta smart to put a couple covers in there and do them very well.
