Hi Richard. Ha, the seat trick was fun. My saddle used to spin sideways on me. That was a challenge when riding sometimes. I always took a pair of pliers with me to tighten it up. I finally had it fixed when I took my ebike and a new saddle to the bike shop. While they would not work on the electronics they did change out and fix the seat and checked the brakes and tires and that sort of thing. It was very helpful to me. I do have a shop about an hour away where I bought the bike that will work on everything. But fortunately I have never had to take it there. Oh goodness, the wait story is hilarious !

Seriously though, it all depends on your physical condition, if you are old and feeble, you should avoid rough surfaces, a young whipper snapper like Richard has no such issues.

I was going to put a second gear on the bike by adding a double crank but because of the battery location it’s in the way, I could probably fabricate something, but I was trying to make it so that anybody could do it. I wanted to use store bought components. So I think I’ll just live with it and hope that the next trike has seven speeds.😊 but a lot of the people that are buying this like the one speed, but some of us like more like me. Thanks for the video Richard. I did find out something interesting while I was down there playing around with the mount for the battery. The battery mount is actually the controller. Yep, take a look at it.

Thanks for the test ride, hopefully I'll be able to do this soon, maybe not that rutty but a little sandy. Getting wet did it hurt the bike any? I have a motorized wheelchair and the batteries cant get wet how does the battery do on the TK1? Mine TK1's are on order, don't know when they will ship, they said early June and that's just a week away, hope it's that soon.
