Bro, the 2 headphones you compared in the video: (Moondrop SPACETRAVEL TWS Earbuds) (Moondrop Golden Ages: 1979 Planar LDAC TWS ). Is the difference overwhelming? Mainly in Anc it's volume. I'm from Brazil and I didn't understand you very well.
@Atechreviews5 ай бұрын
No problem at all, I'm happy to explain! There's a significant difference between the two, but it's not a night-and-day contrast. The Moondrop Golden Ages indeed offer a more immersive ANC experience, higher volume levels, slightly better ANC (about 20% better), and sound quality with improved bass and more clarity. However, it's not four times better; perhaps it's around twice as good as the SPACETRAVEL. The SPACETRAVEL still sounds great, and I use it when my Golden Ages are charging. In terms of value, the SPACETRAVEL is definitely a better choice.

Great vid man May I ask, for the clarity and technicality, can u compare them to other tws from sony or samsung? Can golden age compete with sony link bud s (higher price tag)? For information, can u compare it again with some wired iem (doesnt have to be a plannar iem)?
@Atechreviews6 ай бұрын
The Golden Age TWS offers great clarity and technicality, competing well with top TWS models like Sony and Samsung. While I haven't directly compared it to the pricier Sony Link Bud S, the Golden Age delivers impressive sound quality. Compared to wired IEMs, I think many wired IEMs around this price range will sound better, but the Golden Ages provide a convenient and enjoyable wireless listening experience. Do you have a specific wired IEM in mind that you want me to compare it to?

I would like to ask you whether the MOONDROP GOLDEN AGES True Wireless Stereo TWS earphones are worth buying. If it is not the best or there is a better one, can you recommend it to me?
@Atechreviews9 күн бұрын
At its price point, I believe it’s the best-sounding TWS available. However, there are cheaper options that offer better features, such as superior microphones, improved noise cancellation, and a better fit. You might want to check out the new Moondrop TWS called MOCA.
@mikihinasann9 күн бұрын
@@Atechreviews If I'm being honest, I like Moondrop Golden Ages, but I'm afraid the price isn't worth it for the quality and the ANC system, which I highly rate. Do you think it's worth buying?
@Atechreviews9 күн бұрын
@@mikihinasann If you're looking for detailed planar sound quality, it’s definitely worth considering. However, the new MOCA, priced at $49, offers more features, including wireless charging, a battery indicator, better microphones, an anti-wind mic, and the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously. It also has a light sensor. The EQ profiles of the MOCA primarily affect the bass, making it more versatile. That said, I'm unsure if the stock tuning sound quality of the MOCA will be superior. We’ll have to wait and see!

I have a question. So I have space travel and as you said it's amazing. But, did you notice when there aren't much instrument playing the sound is just really good. But when more and more instrument gets into place I can hear the sounds just ... Kinda dragging every instrument into like a clump of sound instead. So like the sound staging just got worse as the music got complex. I don't notice this behavior on my Buds Live nor KZ ZSN Pro, so technicality of this space travel is lacking. How About this Golden Ages though? Did they increase the sound staging even at busiest moment in a music?
@Atechreviews7 ай бұрын
It sounds like you've noticed that the Space Travel's sound gets a bit unclear during busy passages with ANC on. Just to clarify, I meant to say that it's impressive for its $24.99 price tag, especially with its great ANC. The Golden Ages, on the other hand, has superior technicalities and maintains most of its clarity even during busy music passages. You might enjoy trying out the Golden Ages to hear the difference for yourself!

In comparison to the Golden Ages, the WF-1000XM4 has a much warmer stock sound signature that I could describe as slightly veiled, but I prefer the Golden Ages over the stock Sony's. However, the Sony's offer better ANC and a wide array of EQ options that can drastically alter the sound, providing a more customizable experience.

how about audio delay? is this good for gaming?
@Atechreviews6 ай бұрын
I've found it to be excellent for gaming because of its exceptional clarity and imaging. I didn't notice any lag or delay. You can activate the low latency mode by simply tapping four times on either side, which reduces audio delay to a minimum, making it great for gaming. Personally, I've found that even the normal music mode has low enough latency for gaming. However, it's nice to have the option for low latency mode if you need it!

The Moondrop Golden Age: 1979 is impressive for a TWS and its price, but wired planar IEMs offer superior sound quality.
@malamucik20967 ай бұрын
Thanks for the thorough review. I was considering those as I'm a fan of magnetic planars. Still, I presume my Hidizs MP145 have better sound quality. Also, I have Moondrop Alice, which gives me TWS, Moondrop Link compatibility and way more EQ/tuning options, although it's 10mm dynamic. Unless there is still some valid reason for me to buy the Golden Ages? 80 bucks is not much for me and I have some Shenzhen Audio points for a discount.
@Atechreviews7 ай бұрын
Hey there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am also a fan of planar IEMs, and your presumption is correct. I think the MP145 has better sound quality. If you already have the Hidizs MP145 and Moondrop Alice, both of which offer good sound quality and additional features, it might not be necessary to purchase the Golden Ages unless you're specifically looking for a different sound signature or a new listening experience. If you're satisfied with your current setup, you might not find the Golden Ages to be an upgrade in terms of sound quality.

This review sounds to my ear like "Moondrop Space Travel is really good". I sold my (free) Buds Live for me to buy Space Travel. And now a planar edition of that just came in for cheap (for a planar system) and Moondrop just wowed me again. While Buds Live somehow has better punchier bass than space travel, the working ANC in space travel really puts Buds Live behind. So knowing this version fixed the bass range, i think this Golden Ages beats $200 buds live easily
