This is the first time I heard about Concerto but I have no doubts how fast it got discontinued. I mean this is $300 iem that - Doesn't have a detachable cable. - Treble that looks like a Chi-Fi from pre-pandemic. - Design that's as atrocious as the new Quarks. Who asked for this? Moondrop lately dropped the ball on many iterations. What is happening?

the design is the only reasonable part, the detachable cable is required for the XMEMS driver, and the treble is pretty decent outside the 10khz peak, which hasnt been confirmed by the 5128 so it may not be that strong and its probably also because of the XMEMS, this IEM is more like an experiment.

Can we all collectively stop asking for metal IEMs as if they are better. I prefer resin. It's a preference. Let's not make it so everyone says "oh this is made of metal therefore it's a better build." It's not. Even with resin or 3d printing you can make good feeling iems.

DUSK is not a simple resin shell, it has them fancy carbon fiber faceplates. Though I wish it was stabilized wood. But there's a lot of things that I'd wish for with regards to that IEM... But I also don't understand this "all-resin build bad" sentiment. I recently sold off my DUSK due to channel balance issues and got myself a set of Hype 4. The fit is worse for me and the overall aesthetics are a significant downgrade in my opinion. The fact that I despise the faceplate design surely doesn't help with that as well. But the build itself I consider an upgrade due to: 1). Hype 4 having a metal nozzles with protective grills and lips for securing the eartips, which DUSK lacks. 2). Hype 4's venting holes being covered with a protective mesh. 3). Hype 4' shells having better structural integrity, whereas Moondrop's IEMs are (in)famous for their faceplates falling off. Hence I don't have to worry about any stuff getting into the IEMs or them falling apart if I'm not careful enough when handling them. And they're light, which helps with the fit stability, even though they don't feels as "substantial" in the hand which imparts a certain impression of cheapness. I just can't stand full-metal builds for their weight. That being said, stabilized wood shells are the superior option. They're light, but look and feel premium at the same time.

That lower Treble tuck is similar to the Dunu Titan S and i relate to the vocals feeling not so good. It's the high Treble emphasis along with the lower Treble tuck that i would like to not be present and rather have a more smoother approach

Had the moondrop A8 back in the day, it was god awful, absolutely horrible. I said never moondrop again. However, I tried the moondrop little white for my iem a month ago and omg it was the worst kind of garbage I have ever bought in this passion. The software was just completely broken, the software told me I got almost no battery left after 30 minutes of use and interrupted the music every 30 second by saying in that super annoying loli pedophile voice "battery low" EVEN THO tha battery was far from empty. It kept playing for 4 hours with that interruption. Chi-Fi and Software are two things that dont mix, like oil and water. My Fiio UTWS5 have the absolute same issue, prolly the same base software. Also the Moondrop Link app is just pure garbage, it is so bad I dont know where to start with my rant. even the horrible fiio app is much better
