Hi, i have a lot of good full size headphones, and my first IEM was the moondrop CHU 1, and i loved them because is something different that gives an edge to guitars, piano, cymbals and female vocals, but that's it, i use the CHU for very specific music genres/albums. My question is, if i want the same thing but upscaled, can i find it in the starfield 2? i don't want an all terrain IEM, i just want something special and different that can give that tasty edge. Thank you!

the Starfield 2 and the 7Hz Dioko are the worst blind-buy I ever made, and I really love the Starfield 1 and the Aria... never more buying with the heart, I'll wait for deep reviews before opening my wallet.. thanks for your review

Dioko was bad stock, but took eq very nicely

It’s a shame, such a beautiful iem and cable. I hear the plug system doesn’t work very well either and just makes it boomy. Probably better off using tuning filters over the hole rather than the rubber plug. I’m glad I got the em6l instead, even though the aluminum around the nozzle came off while putting on my first tip. Easy fix with some superglue, they must not have put enough adhesive on it.

It’s a hundred bucks blue cable from Moondrop, with a pair of beta version Starfield II for bonus, what a steal! ( -for Moondrop ofc ;)

The chu 2 shows what the starfield 2 driver is capable of at 100 dollars if it was tuned better. The driver has potential. Really damn good pitential at that. (I refrence the chu 2 as the drivers are very similar.)

Could you suggest an iem under 100 dollars with midbass as the focus? I have the rosefinch currently and I love it, but looking for an upgrade on it. Looking for better quality across the entire range

Well Akros you just sold me another iem by moondrop which really isn't my favorite brand. EA500 in the stock format has too much midbass for me and the house sound is better but still too much bass. What can I say I hate bass and listen to music for 5 minutes before collapsing to coma lol.

moondrop aria is a classic. thieaudio legaacy 2. There are a lot of good options for 50 bucks and under as well

What exactly you listen too.....there plenty under 90usd which are solid performers

@@akros9333 Will primarily listen to music, good separation,clarity,mild base are required. Doesn't looking for base heavy iem's.

Simgot ew200, simgot ea500, simgot em6l, tripowin Olina se. I also like the kiwi ears quartet, but Tony isn’t a fan. Tbh I’d say simgot em6l, but use tips like spinfit w1 or dunu s and s for a better fit. Almost forgot truthear zero red is another giant killer. Ew200 or zero red are fantastic if you want to save some money.

This IEM proves Moondrop is out of touch, no one wants a very bright sounding IEM.
