yo, can you review the TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero Earphone, gamer review style? Apart from that, love the vid!

It’s a wide fit quite bulky so the fit isn’t the most comfy if you have small ear canals

Great comparison, thanks. I was currently looking for IEMs, because my headphones give me the standard "headphone hairdo" and with spring and summer approaching, headphones might be a bit too stuffy for prolonged use. Searched around for a bit, since the last IEMs I had were Sennheiser CX 3.00 with a pretty scuffed cable from a almost a decade ago and landed on the Moondrop brand and this video. Decided to order the Aria Snow Edition instead of the Starfield since they look the nicest to me and the miniscule difference in sound is not really worth the extra 20ish bucks to me and I can just play around with the EQ to tailor the sound to my liking

My least favorite thing about my Arias is that the paint has bubbled and chipped off after only about 6 months of wearing them as my daily. I do take really good care of my things, and they basically just lived on my desk the whole time. I've moved onto the Truthear Zeros for now, but they aren't nearly as comfortable in my ears as the Aria, with their wider nozzle. All that to say, I'm sad to hear that the Starfield's finish is fragile as well.

How reliable have the Arias been for you? Also, thoughts on Zeros?

@@sa1f43 When I was using them, the Arias were great, minus the paint issues. My ears have adjusted to the Zero's wider nozzle size and I'm still really impressed with how they sound. I use them for everything from gaming, music, and for listening to my mix in my band and they hold up really well for all of it. I do use the Aria's tips as they seemed a little more comfortable for me and they fit fine around the larger nozzle of the Zero. Ultimately, if you're trying to decide between the two, I would go with the Zeros. And if you want to try the Arias, go for the 'Snow' version, since I think that solves the paint chipping issue.

In your opinion, what would be the best budget IEM for competitive shooters like wz & wz2. Best for footsteps. Under 80$

Check out the Truthear x Crinacle Zeros or Final audio vr3000. The Moondrop arias mentioned in this video are very popular too.

i got the snow arias after watching your review on them ONLY because you reviewed them without using extreme audiophile terminology. (Which would be fine if you did UNTIL I/viewer ( a normie) go to watch other headphone/IEM reviews by the same person and they use the same damn terminologies which makes it hard to do understand what the differences should be)
@monkeyman2900
@monkeyman2900 Жыл бұрын
to be fair the terminology just makes it easier to explain what they mean exactly. i didn't know a lot of the big words but i just used google and my brain but idk if u thought about doing that

Personally, I've dropped money on the Aria and the B2 Dusk for gaming. In my collection of ~30 iems, including 1500$ ier-m9's, the moondrops are my absolute least favourite. I'd rather use a cheapo Tanchjim Tanya for gaming. I'm an Apex player who has Solo'd to masters and done roughly 200 hours of audio testing for *how well I can intuitively feel* where things are around me + i'm not sponsored by anyone to say this. I've used binaural tracks, apex gameplay, firing range sound tests I made up for it, etc. The only iem i'll touch anymore is between the Campfire Audio Honeydew (warm, envelopping sound, you can feel the bass from peoples footsteps from like 5 times further than anyone else) and the Raptgo Hook X (Planar magnetic driver + Bone conduction is the best ever).
