Great vid as always. I know a guy that was in the Hamptons with friends checking out houses. He went down a narrow driveway with a pickup and had to go all the way down to turn around. By the time he did a police car was racing towards them with the lights flashing. They got off, but the cop read them the riot act. Once I drove around the driveway at the famous Woolworth mansion on Crescent Beach Road in Glen Cove. I did get away with it! That is an incredible mansion. One of the few all marble mansions around.

Thanks man, loved this video - one of my requests!!! I unfortunately never lived there, but as a teenager I used to work with guys who owned a landscaping company and all of their clients were in Great Neck, Kings Point, etc. So, a lot of those streets I'm familiar with. I remember we used to "accidentally" fall into their pools after a hot day of cutting grass; only if we were fairly certain no one was home! lol. Yeah, this is 'Gatsby' territory for sure. Even had the cops called on me there a couple of times. All I was doing was making out with my girlfriend along some of the less traveled roads there! Guess the neighbors were spying on us! 🤣. And I've been all over Malibu and La Jolla in CA, but I'll take Great Neck any day. It's just seems more classy to me. p.s.: I think you missed a STOP sign at 4:10 😂. Be careful out there bud!

To clarify, there are not “Merchant Marine Academies all over”. There’s actually only one Federal U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (one of the 5 federal Academies along with West Point, Annapolis, the US Air Force Academy, and the US Coast Guard Academy) and it is proud to be located in Kings Point, NY. There are 5 state based merchant marine academies (Maine, Mass, SUNY Maritime, Texas A&M, and Cal Maritime), but they are state based only. That said, the Federal Academy and the state schools are proud to work together, however it is important to understand the difference.

The old money and obscene wealth in those communities is just unreal. I lived and worked on the Island for a few years and would go to those areas to pick up and return customers cars for the shop I worked at in Huntington. I haven't checked all your videos so it may be covered, but if not check out Bayville and Centre Island (may be gated ) Lloyd Harbor, Oyster Bay, into nice cars? Glen Cove weekly cruise night is insane. I knew a guy who had a kitchen and bathroom renovation business in Bayville and the stories this guy had stuff like he'd finish up on a $50,000 shower( not the complete bathroom 50k on redoing the shower in the bathroom) the wife decided she now wants a different tile color they'd pay the 50k and give him another 10k to start for demoing what he just finished and start again. Being a plumber to the rich and famous is a well paying job. Another character I got to know out there was the preacher at that enormous stadium size church out on the Island. Another extremely well paying gig apparently. Think he was mobbed up he was showing me his numerous bullet wound scars one day from his former lifestyle before finding "God" when dropping off one of his several cars ( Ferrari La Italia 458? , Rolls Royce, convertible Bentley and a Prius 2 actually) funny story this guy looked like a stereo typical mobster and was just an enormous hairy chested gold chain wearing mountain of a man well over 6ft and 300+lbs. Prius is not designed for a person of this size. He comes in asking hey I just got this car I absolutely love it however I can't fit in it. Now what made this guy fall head over heals for a Prius and being aware of his other vehicle interests is beyond my understanding(he didn't fit in his Ferrari comfortably either but still managed to drive it like he stole it on the reg.) So asks us if we can do something sure we can I'm thinking Hightower ripping the front seat out of the Civic in Police academy however it must have been a rather common thing for extremely large people wanting to fit in a Prius because you can buy a kit that is commercially manufactured that moves the seat rearward to the point it's touching the back seat and if more is needed a rear seat delete kit is also offered. Sorry for rambling but for all you gorilla size Prius lovers out there there is a cheap and easy fix that allows you to fit in the shoebox comfortably.

@@rogertheartfuldodger Maybe my video quality is not as good but don't see it at 21:45 lol. 20:00 I saw pretty well, since he nearly bumped and ran the kid over. I've grown up around privileged kids in NJ who have mega-mansions over 10,000 square feet and while it is nice to grow up in a fortunate situation they still deal with a lot of the same issues an average Joe does. I just wish they would share their secrets more and teach us how to be wealthy. And sometimes there is even more pressure on the kids because of how (financially) "successful" their parents were, which casts a shadow onto them. But I'll still take their position over a middle class or lower class person's any day of the week haha. Kind of like what the Wolf of Wall Street said, "I've been poor and rich before. I grew up in Kings Point. There is no way a dashcam video in the summer can do it justice. Drive thru in the winter when there are less leaves on the trees. Also, it is not a private security force, but rather the Village of Kings Point Police. Which is one of many Village Police Departments in Great Neck. The starting pay for a Kings Point cop is north of 200k. Additionally, there are License Plate Readers at every entrance to the Village, so yes the Police know who is coming and going. You missed the big estate on Pond Rd, which has three very large homes (one which is huge), with a total of over 60,000 sqft between the three of them. A Russian Billionaire bought it and then put it on the market for 99 million. There is a lot of new construction, but they tore down some really old magnificent estates. I had a friend whose house had an underground bomb shelter (built in the 50s), that had a periscope that you could see up to the street level. Some crazy stuff out there. You cannot get to the point, because it was sold and it is under construction. It used to be the Brickman Estate. Even before it was "dismantled" you could not get to it as the driveway was super long and very private...

Yeah right? They are well aware of who belongs and who doesn't I worked at a highend auto repair shop and people that live in these communities dont go to Jiffy lube themselves, hell they wanted new wiper blades we would go get the car at their home and bring it back. I was stopped by the private police on a number of occasions just cause they knew I didn't belong they would phone or radio the homes security or resident and verify that they were expecting me.
