Mooneyes is a LEGENDARY name in hot rodding, and they only have 2 shops in all of America. Their headquarters in Santa Fe Springs California and has remained mostly unchanged since 1956. The second shop is right here in Honolulu, just off Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki just minutes from Waikiki.
Let's look at the history of Mooneyes, and visit Tad Matsuno who runs the Kaimuki shop.
Special thanks to Craft of Speed, a documentary about Mooneyes coming out later this year. Visit their page to learn more!
