I don't exactly know if he writes a lot of his reviews down before he goes on air, but the way he seems to hesitate and lose his words because he speaks too fast and then, seemingly out of the blue, comes up with those quips and analogies, is absolutely brilliant. We went to the early evening showing with only 6 other people there and it was exactly the perfect relief! So dumb. We groaned at all the cheesy dialogue. We laughed at all the dodgy science. And boy was I in stitches. The effects were good, the moon snake blob looked cool, I really took to John Bradley as a performer, and Halle Berry gave it her all like the trooper she is. The scene with an awkward bespeckled British dude sitting in a space shuttle sincerely using a slide rule absolutely made it for me. Utterly stupid, I recommend it.
