Fun fact: in my books (Southern Wolf / Heart Of Circuits shared universe), I think of evolution as working like Linux distros and forks. Humans are the common ancestors of all beast-sapiens (anthros) just like how wolf beast-sapiens are the ancestors of all other dogs. It's a simple way to explain why everyone can all be omnivores like humans regardless of species and why they live in the same world as their feral counterparts, hence there's no issues like the ones depicted in Beastars or Zootopia. Blaidd, you'd definitely be a beta tester for my games (and get the final release for free).
