Seriously about the otters though, how are they never significant? I feel like they're a big enough animal where they'd have to be significant. Pretty much the same size as a cat. I did a double take when I read that part while re-reading the series awhile back. But I guess deer are also confirmed to live in the old forest in the first arc, and no one talks about that either. Actually, I think I remember them hearing literal wolves howl in the distance once, on the way to the mountains (which aren't that far away from the lake). Literal wolves. How is that not the most terrifying thing ever to them? Like a whole pack of "bigger foxes"? And yet it's just casually mentioned.

Those "résumé" don't tell anything about if there is a story arc or not. I mean, it's 3min for Into the wild to 7 min for this one and 9 min for Firestar's quest. And you could make it much shorter, as you could make much shorter something like Lord of the rings. Plus, "complete lack of" is more than hyperbolic.

At least for a lord of the rings abriged, (or similar franchise, even the into the wild of Moon's does a pretty good job and events feel tied together) the events that happen logically flow together. it's almost like they're part of a plot. I still can't tell you how the whole Hollyleaf getting captured by Riverclan tied into the rest of the plot thematically, and honestly I forgot that it happened. I like warriors, but you have to admit the power of three arc had thematic issues. Also I can be hyperbolic if I like, it's in the spirit of the video and channel. chill.
