seen this years ago and was impressed... but after 4/20/17 i remembered this version and sought it back out... that should say something... love the pianist & guitar harmonics... singers voice certainly trys to capture all of the nuances pete did... like the emphasis on "cigarette" ... you can tell love put into this cover. This is just destroying a masterpiece, sorry, I appreciate the attempt but the voice lacks of emotion, sounds like quite empty to me. Maybe I'm just a hardcore TON fan. Anyways, what was done after minute 5:00 sounds nice, yet quite far from TON's essence. I bet your own songs are much cooler than this cover.

First part mediocre, however I appreciate really fresh take on the cover and originality when most covers are just song played the same way as original. Vocal delivery totally missed, dispassionate and dry. Intro also pretty bad sound wise. Then, at 5:06 it becomes really nice musically, however vocals still lacking. There is more life in her voice (still not enough) but still it seems forced out and as if in slow motion. 50/50.
