I completely agree. While there is a fine line between honor and sanctity of an original, is it not better to have the newer and less (arguably) cultured generations know the song than to have it fade into obscurity of the only composer inclined individual. Hearing a great song breeds curiosity so maybe out of the million+ who have listened that extra 5-600 who have listened to an original is worth it. I say yes it is. Keeping a classic alive is worth a modernization.

This sounds like it belongs in an rpg game. A foreboding ruined castle that you've just discovered that your ancestry once ruled from. Your birth a lie, your life a life. Manipulated like a marionette at the fingers of your best friend who seeks to bury you with your family's past only after revealing the truth. The undertones of the music suggesting it isn't only a difficult physical fight, but an emotional one as you try to convince you former friend to cease his foolish endeavor. At the end of the fight no matter how hard you hit him, no matter how smart you were. It is you laying on your back left to bleed out soon to be embraced by the ghosts of your unknown pasts. The path here was long and arduous only to find out that this whole time you were inadvertently the villain. While you had done nothing illegal, those you had fought both physically and mentally were the ones who knew the truth. This dawns over your character in his last moments...what a monster he had been. I certainly wish they made psychological thrillers like that in games. Not often, never a trend but it'd be a nice curve ball in the story line to unknowingly be the villain. Done in such a way you recount your memories at the end before fading to black. A hero of misguided light. The sequel being the game you learn your truths and the sins of your fathers. A cursed existence in purgatory that you must claw your way back to the living. Along the way you learned the full truth...that you were slain only due to half of the truth, it is that other half you must fight for to truly prevent the catastrophe that was creeping through the shadows towards the unsuspecting livelihood of your world. At the end of it all you're granted a choice, to avenge yourself by killing your friend...though this choice brings about the catastrophe because it is your combined abilities that save the world...or forgive him and work together to fight the true end boss in a battle that can't be won alone.

Oh certainly the second duel where you must best or forgive your old friend at the end would be a multistage duel where the pauses are for conversation and choices. Not only do you have to forgive, but you would also have to convince him you now knew the truth and educate him about the danger to come between parries and strikes. I want to thank every one who made their comments replying to my idea :)

People trying to even compare it to the original are insane 😂 that is not the point! Obviously, nothing ever will come close to it. This is amazing use of a classical piece reimagined in a completely different way. Love this so much. The melody is hypnotic. Reminds me of Portishead.

For all those who moan about how the songs feel changes on remix songs, a few pieces of advice for you. One, if you do not like it, then go back and listen to the original. Two remixes are meant to change the songs feeling and sound, or else it would just be a repost of the original............. Third, no one is forcing you to listen so stop bitching. This is beautiful, in its own way. Classics like Moonlight Sonata are wonderful, but that does not mean that other people cant alter it for a new work of art. Music is subjective and unlimited, and there is no right way with music. Get off your high horse and try to expand your horizons a little.

Why are you thanking Beethoven for this? It's barely even loosely related to Beethoven's Sonata No. 14. The notes are completely different, there is a shitty piano playing random notes on top of it, and drums over it too, and everything is repeating for 5 minutes straight. How is this shit Beethoven's music?

Whats wrong with you people, what happened to acceptance? Whats happened to for the people, life liberty and justice? I like this. It's different from the original. Some are not in favour due to its different feel, but it reminds me a little of Alice is Dead. It's a good idea and it makes me a little sad. Without making a joke, reminds me of the sound of disappointment, but bitterly you know you must move on because things will be better. And though you want to rest, you owe it to your future self to keep going. A song for endings.

Although the added melody is quite nice, the sharpness of the instrument doesn't blend very well. That's just my opinion anyway. I think this has potential to be really good. Just a matter of execution.

Lol makes me feel as if this song would be in a reality Where a boy witnessed his parents brutal murder A psychopathic man makes the kid choose over which parent he wants alive and the other one dead, the kids father tells the boy it's okay to not pick him so the kid listens and the death of the father was by him getting cut to half by a saw blade and the boy witnessed it, then the psychopath had lied and had killed his mother too! The boy is then tortured as he sees his parents bodies bleeding a crap ton while on the floor The boy is traumatised and seeks nothing but vengeance After a numerous amount of time of grief with all his scars both mentally and physically he feels something He feels the urge of vengeance and the feeling of the blood from the psychopath He trains himself to become stronger faster better At this time he is 18 and has himself a blade and quite some guns He searches for the killer of his parents He learns that the killer has made himself...

Sorry ran out of room but getting back on track He learns that the killer is in a huge notorious gang that consists of at least 150 members and that the killer was the leader He's losing hope until he sees someone on the news a boy at the age of 14, athletic and poor has witnessed his step-father shoot his mother for the gang initiation which was the same gang with the other boys killers He looks for the young boy and trains him Not only has he and the boy grown but so has the killers "army" with the step-father in it Finally they attack Killing every gang member in sight they thrive with thrill as they kill each and every one It comes down to a group of at least 7 members fighting those two The 14 (now 16) year old boy was outnumbered and was stabbed in the chest Death after death passes and finally there is no more fighting To the 18 (now 22) year old boy the 14 year old seemed as if a little brother The younger boy whispers a name The older boy leans in and realises..

+Samuel iBraskyy yet again with the room He realises the younger boy is Saying "Mother" Moments later the younger boy is speechless with a passive body No movements, nothing The older boy begins to grieve He screams to the sky "Why God, why, you've taken my whole family, are you proud now, are you laughing" with every word he said he felt more enraged and finally he collapses to the ground crying The older boy buries what seemed To be his younger brother, but the memories of them together faded Now his intentions were no longer on killing just his pyscopsthic killer but also killing the whole gang and especially the younger boys step father A while he takes out all the gang members except for the step father and killer Finally he reaches the end, he saved the best for last The older boy reaches for his blade and notices that the leader and step father both have guns He tosses the blade aside The men do the same with their guns except now they pull out knives...

+Samuel iBraskyy The older boy realises that this would be the closest to it becoming a fair fist fight The boy begins charging at the two men and just as the men deprive their knives into the boy The boy slides underneath them and dodges the knife except the step fathers knife has dug into his cheek a bit and blood began to pour from his cheek, he feels the blood and feels an adrenaline rush He attack yet just receives more injuries He knows he's no Match He thinks "fuck it" He sprints towards the step father and just has the step father stabs by overhand the boy grabs the hand and steals the knife, the boy then stabs him in the heart, feeling vengeance he thrives But.. He didn't notice one thing, he forgot about the killer, the killer had plunged his knife into the boys back The boy falls to the ground as blood gushes from him He loses his strength The killers mouth opens "I watched you suffer as you stated into the lifeless bodies of your parents" ....

+Samuel iBraskyy Sorry yet again not enough room "I'm proud I did that, because I inspired you to come after me" The boy fully collapses "You thought that you'd be able to kill me, so you trained, well now I'm able to obliterate your hopes and dreams, because now you'll be seeing your parents in hell" The killer thrusts the knife at the boy Part of the knife digs in yet the boy has caught the hand with the knife in it, the boy fights with all his life and keeps the knife from getting any further into his bleeding body, the boy screams with agony Finally one tiny little last piece of adrenaline kicks in, the boy screams The boy rises from the ground with still a knife in his back and a blood drooped face Face to face they battle over the knife The boy is able to push the man back The man tumbles To the ground The man realises he had lost his knife The boy is holding the knife Before the boy would ever be able to see the world once more he lunged at the man and...
