I was going to write something similar to this. The original version of the song has held a lot of meaning to me because I discovered it at probably one of the hardest and loneliest times of my life. It’s funny hearing this song now in a different arrangement but still being able to remember all the memories I associated with it during that time. I think when you’re trying to forget someone or something, it’s easy to ignore the idea of them/it, but forgetting the memories.. Man, that’s the hardest part.
