tbh it was kinda hard lol. for me, i couldnt even get to know the names of the members, song translations or variety shows with subtitles and all the video qualities were like 480p or 360p at max. facebook was more popular than instagram at that time so we had kpop groups which helped us get to know the members. i remember not knowing my fav group's members' names so i always referred to them as "the red head" or "the blonde one" lol. it was a somehow cringy but great time tho

2nd gen the BEST kpop era for sure. Miss those times and the non-toxicity around fandoms and idols. Less scandals and idols were friends in public and everything was cool. I feel really lucky to be able to experience those years while they happened. It was a nice time capsule 🖤

Got into K-pop I'm 2011, and practically grew up with 2nd and 3rd gen of K-pop. I will always be stuck in those generations. I can't vibe with 4th gen the way I do with 2nd and 3rd. Those generations just feel more real, like the interactions, the shows, the music, the visuals. Like none could compare.

Guys someone please help me, I’m trying to remember a song….I can’t get it out of my head….I believe it’s a Gen 2 girl group….I believe it’s a 4-5 member girl group I remember a few things about the song….in the chorus the are holding their hair(that is in a pigtail style) the lyrics kinda sound like this( if you can hum it by just the text)….it’s (Pii-ya-Pipi-Ya)-the chorus say this line kinda repetitively while the are dancing holding to their pigtails…… Someone help i can not think of who this group is
