Good to see the consistency of Moonman #6 nibs & the C1. I also love this pen. A great EDC. Very consistent writer. Can get lost watching the ink slosh around in the barrel.

Nice review, I love my Moonman C1, which for me came with a medium nib. It is actually one of the smoothest nibs I have used, ranking up there with my Faber Castell M and B nibs. I love the Herbin ink, but I keep my C1 eyedroperred with De Atramentis Aubergine.

You got lucky: the blue-purple sections are harder to come by, it seems. Extremely reliable pen. 'pooh-sea-air'

Thanks for an informative review. I've been meaning to buy a C1 for a long time. It's on my to do list for later today!

Love the ink. Have the C1 in (EF). It took a lot of surgery to get it writing perfectly and is slightly dry. A larger nib is better out the box for sure. The lack of posting bothers me too. I keep thinking I’m going to misplace that clear almost invisible cap since I’m use to intermittently capping while thinking and drawing, lol. Love all your reviews and inks!

I think it's a wonderful review. I have already ordered the C1 and was having second thoughts, but watching your video has convinved me to stay on course. I am actually not a fan of posting myself, since I feel that the lighter the instrument, lesser will be the burden on the hand, and the better and longer it would write, without fatigue. Fans of posting argue that the additional length and weight added via posting, helps steady the instrument for the perfect writing posture. However, at the end of the day, it's a personal preference and I completely respect your pro-Post stance. Thank you.

Thanks for the review. I agree the bottle sucks. I use a syringe to put it in my visconti inkpot. I get fantastic shading using an Aurora Cursive Italic nib. I like Blue-Black ink and this looks like Purple-Black ink. My pen is a broad and italic but the line isn't near as dark or saturated as your fine nib.

Moonman : Feel the temperature in writing “OK I will try and do that”. Haha great comment....that was funny!! 😆 😆

I think their engineers could have designed this pen with a very minimalistic taper while keeping that cylindrical look to accommodate posting. I am a big poster too especially with a light and somewhat short pen. But it is a nice wet writer and a cool pen that would get some outside attention. Thanks for the perfect review. 👌

I have the snowflake xmas version and of all my pens this is one of my favorites. I have mine full of yama budo and I despise people who criticize it as a garbage fake pen. It really is a wonderful pen. And it was worth every penny. I used to post all the time but I never do anymore. A lot of mine leak tiny bits into the caps and if i post it gets on my hands more and the pen too. But i adore it. And i love when i see others who can appreciate it too

Poussiere de lune means moon dust. No notion of color in any sense. Cool ink though.

Love my Moonman C1 pen. My 13 year old daughter loves it so much too that she stole it from me. 😂
