Moonpod: An Honest Review

Ordered a moonpod on Kickstarter like 6 months ago for $249. It just came in today. Very light, feels midline (as far as how expensive), is comfy to sit on. Is it worth the cost?

For those wishing I had sat on it in this video, know that I did and found it no more comfortable than a regular bean bag and wayyyyy harder to get up off of. I am unable to do a follow up, as this ended up in the trash since none of my friends/family wanted it.

In a no pet, no child, 1 person household: the zipper broke when putting the cover on as directed, and the inner bag seam broke within three months making the harder pellets spread under the spandex becoming very uncomfortable and sharp. Basically if you pay 300$ for a moron pod, you are paying 100$ a month for a crappy beanbag. Truth!

I am so disappointed in this Kickstarter! I agree with everything you said. This is overpriced as hell and feels so cheap. I backed their Gravity Blanket and I love everything about it, except the size. I am 6 feet tall and this blanket leaves me struggling to keep all me limps under it. Their images make their products appear MUCH larger than they really are. I was so excited about this Moonpod, I even designed my space in anticipation to what we were sold. Their website sells this product like it is a "reinvented beanbag" and provides "weightless comfort". Well this "reinvented beanbag" is the shittiest beanbag I have sat on, and I am anything but comfortable feeling robbed of $250. 0/10.

I LOVE my moonpod and I was concerned about getting the cover on. I live alone and am disabled but I really didn't have any trouble getting the cover on at all!

Thanks I thought this was too good to be true. I saw the price and was thinking ummm not sure I like float tanks but $400... this and the other review which basically said I had 14 days and had to pay to ship it back and a restocking fee sealed this as a no go at that price.

Just like all sellers etc: u should not run out and buy anything wanting to be the first one to say i have one, wait for all the kinks etc: to be worked out in reality a nicer way to say it, you’re a test dummy which send them running back to the drawing board to make improvements, the idea is great , like one said the product should have in mind of all the different heights, body types, body weight, u want your invention to appear to everyone, and everyone needs.

A) You can see hundreds of positive reviews from real customers here who talk about the experience of using the product: www.moonpod.co/products/moon-pod B) All of the materials are listed on the product, itself. The reviewer did not look at any of the tabs which talk about the material of the covers. The outer cover is made from cotton, polyester, and spandex. The reviewer mentioned there was no cotton on the outer cover, which is wrong. C) The product is very expensive to manufacturer, and is priced fairly. D) You cannot find other beanbags with the same components, aesthetic and feel of Moon Pod on Amazon or other online retailers.
