P.S. J’ai aussi traduit celui-ci :)

No fail here from my perspective. Thanks for working so hard on every aspect of this video from traveling, toting tiptoeing, talking and taking. From the salt crystals on the camera to Kim's drone shot floating ahead of that triangle angle, total eye candy.

Hey thanks :) I think it was harder to make the video (edited in 24 hours sitting in front of a computer) than to film it ::)))

Eric, the pictures are astonishing. You and Kim are great professionals working in extreme conditions and hoping for a perfect weather. I know it is frustrating when the things are not the way you thought, but you both are incredible artists. The art of catching the light is not simple, but you have done an amazing job.

scenes from 7:52 to 7:58 are really mind tripping! It seems that Kim is walking on a big balcony and in front of her there's a big gap, a big gulch under her feet, that's a great illusory effect! It seems that under her feet there is the sky, the heaven...wow just amazing!

yeah that place is even crazier in real. We'll probably go back many times again ::)) thanks :D

You two are creating such incredibly beautiful images! Even the drone shots of Kim wading into the scene, with the wake behind her, is just gorgeous. I understand that compared to your goal, it was a "fail" for you, but to me, some of the images you captured are wonderful. Thank you for all the effort, and best wishes to you both!

thanks Mike for your constant support. Of course the overall project is not a fail. I think we had a fun story and created some interesting pictures along the way. I'm currently writing a blog post to give more details about this. :)

Awesome story! I know why you couldn't catch Meztli (the moon)... "She" was too shy after Kim's performance and poses... Kim really shines on the video and of course on the pictures. She totally dominates her moves and she does it better every time. And you are so capable to capturing the swift movements, you both create visual poetry! And this story, even more than 20 min length, ended too soon... thanks for sharing this chapter of your amazing life adventure.

WOW, such an awesome work! What a great inspiration!!! Can you tell more about how you built your flashlight tube? In the intro (sequence + 00:20...) the tube was built by yourselve or did you buy this somewhere? IF you've built it by yourself can you tell how.... Thanks.

this is such an inspiring video!! beautiful images! mysterious world! i would love to go there!! a few questions: is it always cold in Uyuni? when is the best time to go ? and.. that is salt water correct? wouldn't it potentially damage a tripod?

To bad moon did not work out but the other shots look magnificent :) Also the drone sequence! Does Kim walk barefoot in it? or is the ground too rough? really wonder how this salty ground is... I'm sure when dry it must be hard but in water? thanks!
@Ericpare6 жыл бұрын
thanks Billy! She was wearing boots during that sequence. Most of the time, the salt is too crispy to walk barefoot. We talk about that in a few days/weeks :)

Perfect thanks! :)

I have thick skin under my feet, thanks to dance, but it's still pretty sharp. But when the salar is dry it's actually softer from what I experienced. Also, that morning I was wearing boots also because at sunrise the water is just freezing! ;)
