@@Bozzigmupp its a multimedia experience. its essentially a comic made out of webpages. each page can be an image with text, a gif, a game, or even a full animated video with audio. nowadays, the original website is a bit broken due to the lack of adobe flash, but there's a program called "The Unofficial Homestuck Collection" that the creator endorses, that contains the entire comic in its original form, including the flash animations and games

⁠@@Bozzigmuppit’s basically a comic where 4 kids (John,rose,Dave,and jade) all play a game called sburb and all you need to know is that basically everyone dies (at least 1 time) all the alpha kids are (I think) the beta kids parents (backed up by how Roxy’s hair is the same as rose’s mother’s hair and that dirk and Dave’s brother/father are the same person is just someone is a different form) Also for the soundtrack thing, is that there are things called [S] which are videos that have sound or music playing (songs like: moonsetter, sunsetter, megalovania, etc) and these can be for moments in the series or fights This should answer your two questions
