I have lived in Utah all my life and have not been to several of the places you have taken us. Thank you so much because now I am too old and have physical limitations that won’t allow me to hike up steep trails. You are the best.

Thank you so much for your gorgeous treks and tracks. I've been to the lithologic SW a number of times long ago. Now 70 and in COVID isolation for the duration of me thus I will not ever get back. But I can dream the memories. Your videos are the chamomile that stimulates those reveries so. Thanks again. PS I pick the trails too. I recall being at Rainbow Bridge back in the days of universal tobacco worship and picking dozens and dozens on dozens of cigarette butts. Ugh. But someone had to do it. :)

Tex youre a hero as is anyone who picks up trash on our trails. i was just in Alstrom Point camping and i walked around and picked up some trash that must have blown away from other people.

I discovered this arch while scanning around on Google Earth last winter. I had forgotten about it. Thanks for the video to remind me. I'm planning some weekend trips this fall and a visit there would fit in nicely.

I've lived in N.Utah for 30 years and visited Vernal for the 1st time in 2019. I had the impression that Vernal was just sagebrush and dust. I was wrong! It's very pretty there. I did several hikes at Dinosaur national monument.

Looks awesome! Can you camp there or is there good camping nearby?

That specific area is peppered with private ranches so there's not a lot of good options by the arch. But just 10min down Highway 191 is Red Fleet Reservoir Campground with a full services and even flush toilets. And if you want to avoid the crowd of organized campsites, Donkey Flat Road just north of the reservoir connects to a network of dirt roads and dispersed BLM sites surrounded by designated mountain biking trails. All is still the same slickrock terrain as the arch.

It’s not hard riding on an ATV. I do it often. And yes we are allowed

As long as you stay on designated trails I'm cool with it. Seems like I always see so many people going off trail or around closure signs. Good riders like you need to keep bad riders like that in check because they're don't listen to the rest of us and they make all riders look bad.
