1. No healing from non-hero units during ult (which I hate the most). 2. Early game damage and sustain really really low. 3. Literally 1 minute ult cool down, when the duration ends, you're a sitting duck (my second most hated thing). 4. Skill 2 low damage as well as low movement speed boost. 5. Can't split push if your team is losing. 6. Skill 2 is useless on creeps. 7. Passive damage is nerfed (you'll need insane amount of crit chance to activate consecutive passive during ult). 8. You'll feel like you're tickling the enemies until you have your full build. Bring back old argus, moonton, revert all the changes on argus. All argus really needed is malice energy regen boost to be a meta hero again. But if his ult (immortal state) lasted 8 seconds with 45 seconds cool down, that would have been a cherry on top.

He was never and never gonna have 8 secs immortality, right from advanced server it had been shown, the player's comprehension level is low for comfort. They thought he was gonna have 8 secs immortality loool bunch of clowns that can't read. Hyped f*ck out of the revamp with "ARGUS IS OP" and now they are crying lol. If anyone wants argus to be good, they should do the least: understand changes and use braincells when judging revamps. It's the player's fault why argus is in this mess and I don't think it will end there.

I tried Crit build on Argus because of the enhanced passive from his Ult. It feels like unlimited passive if Argus always Crit his passive, but building Crit Items takes too long and farming became slower. It was satisfying to see the unlimited passive, but most games ends early before he can show off his damage which is a let down for Argus.

I play Argus like i would Freya on this patch, meaning i used his ult offensively at full health. Guess what? I works better than it is before. Gotta squeeze all that unlimited passive double damage, we cannot use his ult passively like before.

Pretty much like Zilong, where I split push/delay a wave if we're losing. I would only sell the boots after getting my 4-5 item. Winrate is also stable and let me tell you that most of my wins are comebacks lol

From my analysis, i think moonton didn't know how actual argus players use argus. They only see the pusher side of argus, not knowing how actually viable he is normally in fights. Again, to quote somebody about this patch, "they aimed for his early-mid strength to be better, there's no difference, if anything it worsens it"

As an old old argus main, I think we just need to adjust our playstyle. I do agree the passive energy nerf when hitting tower is horrible, they should have kept that. But he is a lot more of a burst hero now, especially at late game. 3 passives at full build will melt any squishies if they are unprepared, and with the new second skill and ult you can get those in about half a second. To play new argus you HAVE to change playstyle. He is no longer the brainless "get low hit ult", there is actually some element of skill to when you should all in or back off, and I like that. Additionally, you also HAVE to get used to the new second skill. s1 + s2 + 2 passive + s1 disengage is a lot of burst damage. Running away can be solved with windtalker, dragon spear or even hunter's. CC can be solved with better timing of engaging and ulting. His trinity build is a lot weaker, and they might need to buff the new ignore armor effect on his passive. But overall, his crit build is disgustingly strong if you can adjust to his new style. There is no more old argus, which is sad, but new argus is crazy good if you play safe early and pick up items. Trust me the combo is has a ridiculous amount of damage

Now you NEED Rose gold meteor for argus, it's a core item now without it your early game sucks hard. Rose gold give argus sustain and enough damage early while being cheap to buy. After rose gold just go full critical, don't bother buying boots, last items is optional depending on enemies.

Tbh ,, The only thing i hated with this revamp is the removal of healing when attacking enemy units ( Not enemy heroes ) during ult cause they removed his survivability against heroes who have higher mov speed ,, The compensation with the ability to regen his passive on turrets and the lower mov speed buff on his 2nd skill is alright as a compensation same with the lower heal on his passive but the removal of healing in his ultimate is downright bad ( speaking from experience) and also he's somewhat weaker due to the changes and the reason behind this is they wanted to make him more reliable as a initiator ( the one who dives at enemies cause that what's in his Description but the playstyle is different lol ) though yeah kinda like the New things but the damage and healing is really bad

Like i will say it's more of a balance update then buff but there are some good things his damage is better because of his second mechanic like if u are at full rage bar and use your second skill it will stake the rage and u can use your enchan or rage basic attack what u want to call and deal High amount of damage even in the early game his gameplay is kinda like dyrrot not literally like just how u stack dyrot energy bar and enchaing his second skills before u fight someone to deal maximum amount of damage its the same with argus full his energy bar and use your second skills to enjoy the next enchanted basic attack. Here are some emblem suggestions go for the tier one emblem which give crit i forgot the and tier to master assassin and tier three use the marksman emblem which slow the again i forgot the name. Because it can help in slowing the enemy. The reason why i use that tier three mm emblem is because I don't buy crosion scyte and u know slowing the enemy is very important or they will run easily don get me corrosion is still very good on Argus with the slow but i will rather build and crit item because his energy bar stack faster with crit. For spell i will suggest petrify or flick if the enemy is very mobile like someone like claude or heroes which are very good at skiting if not good inspired sprint is also a good option. Here is some in game suggestions to play after update argus.If u are force in a fight with a enemy and your rage bar is not full then use basic to full your energy then use your second skills to stake rage bar and deal more damage only do this if u have your ult and one more thing use him in gold lane instead i have try him and it's pretty good 👍

1) Build critical items for passive bar back to 100 on each crit during ult. Consider building berserker's fury right away to enhance base crit damage that amplifies the fixed damage component of his passive. 2) Your early game isn't as weak as you think. Trade hits only with full passive for damage+heals 3) use ult not only for immortality but for passive regen effects. That way you can win thamuz during the laning phase easy, even in mythic+ ranks. Granted his teamfight still sucks against high cc teams.

Here's my personal opinion to make Argus strong Like each time he use his skills that hit on heroes it instantly charge his passive. Like how his current second skills works instant recharge. So a possible combo, first skill + basic attack + second skill + basic attack + second phase second skill + basic attack + ultimate + basic attack. With this is enough to make him more like a fighter/assassin with instant burst of his instant charge passive.

Every hero weakness is cc lol, not only argus, thats why we bring diggie, purify spell, or high mobility hero to evade cc. . And on statistics Argus winrate is too high on all rank because he is strong to split push and 1v1 . Just like Old old Masha (high atk speed, high lifesteal, 3 bar hp, cc immunity) the best split pusher in her prime. . Thats why they buff (nerf) both of them.

He fell off by a mile, every tanky hero is literally his weakness now. passive? non existent. attack speed? non existent. damage? non existent. healing on ult? non existent. Used to be able to melt tanks before the revamp with DHS, yet barely dealt any damage with 4-5 items.
