Contrary to popular opinion this course was actually a lot of fun to learn. Getting punished for going fast is a shitty mechanic but it forces you to be creative. The shroom strat ended up being pretty simple anyway but I enjoyed messing around with a lot of different strats. The only other shroom strat I could see working is 0-1-2 so you lose less time to the trucks on lap 2

I'm not going to compliment this run, because apparently being wholesome and showing appreciation towards someone's hard work and dedication to a TAS makes everyone overly sensitive and whiny. So instead I will personally attack you and ask some dumb questions that demonstrate that I know just as much about this game as an 80 year old cat lady whose most modern piece of technology is a type writer. Wow this run is fucking terrible, don't you know that since you don't shroom in the same place each lap, it makes your run inconsistent and thus terrible? Didn't you know that inconsistency immediately implies bad because apparently the pigeonhole principle doesn't exist? Why do you turn in your wheelie during a boost? Did you actually test that that doesn't lose time? I bet not because you MKW TAS wannabes don't have basic tools that display speed and stuff oh and did I mention that the MKDS timer bug should be possible in this game because I know for a fact that the MKW and MKDS timers function the exact same way, I know this because I got a world record in this game back in 2009 or some shit on SNES Mario Circuit 3. This game is fucking easy to TAS, even though MKDasher said it's like one of the hardest games to TAS. Oh and I forgot to mention that I know a lot of programming and am very smart and you are dumb and you don't know programming. PS QM doesn't exist and I love Walter and Rhodechill

What are you talking about? Of course our speedometer is accurate... You can see it in Rocky's LC TAS when the speedometer displays less than 84 but he's magically going faster than shroom speed! It's probably muh quantum mechanics at it again (or the LSD, who knows) I literally requested the latest ram watch thing to allow us to derive our own values (such as change in position divided by a frame, what on earth could that possibly do O_o) Oh but I must be retarded because I don't know enough programming to add these features myself

Thanks man, I appreciate it. As for the wheelie cancel, it's pointless on the lap 2/3 transition because the wheelie doesn't last long enough anyway, you will still end up chaining on the straight no matter what you do.

Yeah, I see what you mean, indeed. You will always have to do a chain on that part, even if you cancel. The way how I thought about it was, with the wheelie cancel, you'll be able to have 96km/h a bit longer as you'll do your chain later on the straight. Anyway, thank you for the reply man! :d

Really cool TAS! CM is still my favourite tho :P Can any of the strats be used in a WR run? I feel like going right in the first boost panels like you do in lap 1 & 3 is not worth it legit right? And triple trick seems way too hard to use it legit as well

I don't know much about kart lines but yeah it's possible. The main reason it's faster is just because it's a much better line, you get to stay straight instead of going all the way to left. However, without a wheelie the miniturbo will be much slower so that could lose time for kart

mkwLuκe I thought about that because with karts you precharge mts all the time, while with bikes you mostly wheelie.. if that path was faster for. wheelieing vehicle, well that should work for a non wheeliein one (where the boost pads have much more impact on the time when not mting or snaking).
