I hope Sia has seen this. For even though I have known all the lyrics since I first heard her wonderful song and loved many covers of it like Jordan Smith's somehow the lyrics and what they are saying are so much louder in Matt's cover. I don't know how maybe it is because of the simpler production (or maybe it is because of what Matt is living) but WOW I really really hear those words and what they are saying in this rendition. He had gigs and festivals lined up this spring and summer but obviously everything's been cancelled. He's releasing new music with his old band Seven Summers later in the year, again been delayed because of the present circumstances. If he was planning any more stage roles, I guess that's all up in the air too for the foreseeable future. Difficult time for performers.
