GHOST in the house.. Enjoyed you and counrty visiting our spot... Side note brocks clutch mod is really the answer.. I was having same issue you was having at 61 inches and stock clutch. We already spoke on wheelbase.. You will not catch me on the backside next time...... For all the fans Chris did his thing.. he was handicap with wheelbase and stock clutch when you making so much power... Much respect

Quick question wheelbase is measured from center of front axle to center of rear axle, correct? Also when they say 5,7,10 over that means longer than stock?

Never underestimate the streets, they can't always afford to. Or go to a track, but alot of them got more skills then track racers. 💪🏾 Respect to Chris for hanging with them on a basic set up.

Use to cost me 150-200 to track my car all day at Pocono, Limerock, or VIR. 4-5 20-25 minute sessions.

@@PaddleDogC5 that's a road course, two different animals. Should be way less for regular drag events. Big money promotion events will be much more expensive. I paid 100-200 road racing my bike per day. Drag racing on practice days, Friday nights and Saturdays were only $25.00. Friday nights were assume, sometimes we do 15-20 runs in just a couple of hrs. and we get full time slips. A full weekend road racing would cost me ~ $ 600 a weekend all in, with travel, gas, motel, entry fees, two days on track...that was about the cheapest I could do it. Guys with bigger bikes and running hard could add another 3-4 hundred for a set of tires.

That k8 gave you a good run even having a stock wheel base... that's why I love the k8 over any other bike.. it's one of the older bikes that will give new bikes hell.. my stock wheel base beat a exhausted and tuned 2018 V4 in the 1/4 ever run with a 30lbs lighter rider .. hell yeah

Yep that's a hard one to tame without some tweaks when you have this much power. I think you did very well for what you had to deal with Chris. Been there done that many times way back in the day. I would have tried letting the motor pull down just tad more, drive through the bog, then short shift 2 & 3. Keep up the great work and riding CM ... Cheers Dale Walker
