My guess on the wheelie steer has always been that the axle is not perpendicular to the center of the bike- one side adjusted to far forward. I get the rear wheel off the ground and spin the rear wheel and watch the chain as it enters the sprocket. If the chain is riding against the left or outside of the sprocket then the wheel is pitched to the right if the chain is riding on the inside or the right side of the sprocket then the wheel is pitched to the left. Rotate and tighten the chain until it rides in the center with no indication to pitch right or left. I think this will help straighten out your wheelie!

yep my r1 had the wheel WAY off and would steer so hard to the right that i had to lean my turbo off the left. made the gap between the axle blocks and swingarm even, and then fine tuned from there to get it to go dead straight

I passed an H2 westbound at Arlington Heights Rd on my 2012 Kawasaki Concours 14, pinned it to its max reading 177 on the analog speedo, and after H2 couldn't catch me till we stopped at Woodfield the 220 rider asked "how fast does that bike go? Does it go 200?"

Wouldn't the pull to the right be from all the torque being applied to left side of the wheel? Thats the only thing I can figure, as much power as the new bikes are making it makes sense, but in theory youd like to think the swingarm would negate it. 🤷‍♂️

Front wheel is floating and by the left side of the rear wheel taking all the power, so in theory the bike would want to go right. I am really curious myself if someone could actually explain it and prove what causes it. And by the way I love the R1 content, I had one set up for 1/8 mile and loved it. Only problem was street riding, I hated doing any distance on it. Got a Busa and loved everything about it, the R1 would kick it's ass in a 1/8 but other than that, I love the comfort and top end of the Busa. Love the videos 👍

If the bikes pulling to one side either your body position is off or the rear tire is out of alignment. Those marks on the swingarm aren't always accurate.

Dealerships charge a setup fee for these bikes for just uncrating them, if they come with misaligned chains, then for what you charge you should start loosening axles, and adjusting these things correct. Shitty to get a bad start on drivetrain and chain wear from the factory…..
