Power to weight is a huge deal I got a friend who rides and is literally probably 300 lb or a little more but he's solid.. I'm 6 inches shorter and 150 lb lighter 😂 believe me when I tell you him on a 1000 vs. Me on a 600 is a closer race than it should be lol

Dang I miss my 2006 gsxr 1000. I dreamt about it a red one in boot camp & 6 months later I found one for sale. It was stretched 6 , dropped 4, Chrome swing arm, chrome rims, & polished chrome gsxr engraved hand grips that I absolutely hated. Not to mention smooth hand grips have 0 grip even w/ good gloves. Either way my purchase sparked a fire in my battalion,more than 1/2 got bikes. Whether they were crotch rockets or cruisers we rode hard & had fun.

Let some of that newfangled gadgetry help you, probably not for a pro like you but the wheelie control on my new gen mt09 and mt10 helps a mere mortal like me keep the front end down enough to actually get a little out of 1'st and 2nd that are totally useless without wheelie control. Fun but not conducive to fast launches. Mt10's really are fun as hell, Magic Mike said on latest ejr podcast he wishes he WOULDN'T have bought his latest busa and bought the new mt10. They are that much fun AND comfortable. No it's not a 200mph, 200whp beast but it will keep even an experienced rider entertained.👍

Lot of times you get heat in the tires it will start standing up mine does I got a K5! You don’t realize how much you spin sometimes. I thought my clutch was slipping when I first put my new pirrelis on and nope it was just smoking the back tire as it pulls along! You feel like your moving fine but nope wheel spin and you don’t even realize! Extended bikes you seem to be able to tell better. They tend to kick out a little!

Hey Chris I took my bike down the drag strip for the 1st time last thursday, fricken blast. I ran 9.62 @75 mph. I have a 1995 Suzuki Intruder 1400, 4 spd. About 30 mph 1st, 52 mph 2nd, 74 mph 3rd, 110 mph 4th. 570 pound bike without me on it. Vtwin, 2 carb, got jet kit, k&n pod filters, and redneck shorty straight pipes. Stock clutch plates with heavy duty springs. I know you understand bikes alot more than I do, if I was trying to do 100mph in the 1/8 do you have any ideas about how much more power that would take?

The brake line from the ABS pump goes to the right hand caliper. There’s a short brake line that goes from the right caliper, over the mudguard and into the left caliper. You can remove the short brake line that connects the calipers, then remove the left caliper and rotor, then use the single banjo bolt from the left caliper, to secure the brake line from the ABS pump to the right hand caliper. The right hand caliper usually has a double banjo bolt, but it would be too long with only one brake line. You can also totally remove the ABS system altogether, in which case you can run a single brake line from the master cylinder straight to the right hand caliper.

@@aaronj8600 In straight line racing like this there is no difference in stopping difference. Dual calipers is for circuit racing to prevent brake fade from heat soak. The bikes that go over 200 in the 1/4 mile use one caliper without issues.
