With Moorea, how about that epic 270-degree view from "Le Belvedere"? That was certainly the most wild/crazy view of the fluorescent green of the island's mountain scenery and the equally fluorescent blue of the surrounding Pacific.

We can definitely share some more about visiting there! We had a lot of fun exploring that area.

Belvedere lookout is beautiful. We stayed at Hilton Moorea overwater bungalow the first time we went to Tahiti. We got married there. Swimming and diving with the dolphins was so much fun we went twice. We went to Bora Bora last year, but Moorea is very close to our heart and we look forward to returning!!!

Wow! Such a magical place for a wedding. I’d love to do some of the hikes that start at Belvedere next time but I think we need to prepare a little bit before. I’ve heard some are very difficult. Bora bora is on our list for next time. We highly recommend Huahine too!

That’s incredible. Tahiti is beautiful! Have you been able to visit many other islands? We only got to see Tahiti, Moorea, and Huahine, but we’d love to come back and visit others.

@@AnyoneCanTravel I only visited Moorea, Raiatea and tikehau because Me and my familly prefer visiting rich💸countries and cities🌇 like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami or Dubai… since we already live in a paradise.🏝

Wow Tikehau looks beautiful. I’m from Southern California so I love that you’ve been able to visit. California is very beautiful and fun. There’s so much to see and do. Thanks for watching!

I have worked for many years as a travel journalist and professional editorial photographer. Now that COVID-19 is subsiding, I am eager to get back to Tahiti. Definitely *_Moorea_* and *_Bora Bora_* are the best parts/islands of the region. I could go to parts of Tahiti I haven't been to before, but getting back to those two places is high on my To Do list!
@AnyoneCanTravel Жыл бұрын
Wow what a cool job! Tahiti is one of my favorite places for sure. We didn’t make it out to Bora Bora since we were on a budget, but it’s on our list. If you do want to check out another island we loved Huahine.
@thepanel2935 Жыл бұрын
@@AnyoneCanTravel yes, I went to Huahine, as well. Plus the main island where the town of Papeete is situated. I will probably re-visit Tahiti in July of 2023 because June to August is said to be the best time of year to be there.
@AnyoneCanTravel Жыл бұрын
We went in late august and it was great! Not too crowded and not much rain. The low crowds may have had to do with COVID testing and vaccination requirements but it was really nice.

I've been to several Pacific islands and Moorea is the perfect island: large enough to have a lot to see and do, yet small enough it's pretty quick and easy to get around. And its extravagant scenery speaks for itself. Also, it's the most Anglophonic of Tahitian isles; this is the island that American, Aussie and Kiwi tourists always visit, so the island has been soaked in 3 nationalities of the English language forever. My French is somewhat limited - Je parle Francais simple, pas bien.
@AnyoneCanTravel2 жыл бұрын
Moorea is amazing and really a lot of people in the US haven't even heard of it. We don’t speak much French either so we appreciated the ease of communication too. Although we did a tour and we were the only English speakers!
@nathanfitzgerald66512 жыл бұрын
@@AnyoneCanTravel Right on! I've been telling fellow Americans about Moorea wonders through word of mouth. Maybe it can get a large boost in tourism if it spends money on American/Aussie/Kiwi TV advertisements. Just a thought. "Le Francais es difficil pour nous Anglais-parleurs." So every Moorean local I've met spoke a good amount of English. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of English spoken there.

Thanks for watching! We actually have some more videos coming about Mo'orea and a new one will go live on Tuesday so don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already. The individual vlogs include cost breakdown if you're on a budget. Mo'orea is incredible and definitely worth the trip and I loved how easy it was to get to from Tahiti. Huahine is another amazing island to add to your list as well. It's a not as well known, but that means less crowds. If you have any questions about visiting let me know and I'd be happy to share what we learned. :)

Super pretty, the turquoise of the water doesn't even look real. Were there restaurants around or would you suggest packing hiking snacks for the day?
@AnyoneCanTravel2 жыл бұрын
It would depend what part of the island you were at I’d say. I would recommend packing snacks just in case. There’s nothing worse than getting hungry and not having anything to eat. You don’t want to be hangry on vacation! There’s lots to eat just around the corner from Les Tipaniers beach though and our favorite place was a food truck near a different beach (Ta'ahiamanu). If you don’t pack snacks I’d make sure to schedule lunch in and know where and when you’re going. A lot of places close in the afternoon from like 2 or 3pm until the evening. We like a later lunch and ran into problems finding places open in the afternoon sometimes.

Tahitian islands have wonderful, extravagant cooking. Due to their cultural French influence, Tahiti's cooking is always a fancy treat! I loved every type of Tahitian restaurant I've been to. And some of their smaller diners have surprisingly cheap prices.

Thank you for this video! Just liked and subscribed! Did you guys rent a car on Moorea or ferry one over from Tahiti? Trying to plan my trip next month.
@AnyoneCanTravel2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! We did rent a car on Moorea. We rented from the Europcar right next to the ferry terminal. It was pretty convenient, but I believe they only have manual transmission cars. I know some people will take a taxi or hotel transfer with their bags and then rent a scooter to get around. The island is big and I enjoyed having a way to explore on our own so I think it’s worth it. Enjoy your trip! Feel free to ask any other questions 😊
