I have a Highlander backpack and absolutely love it, or rather did. A friend moved it then stood on the hip belt buckle breaking it. I emailed Highlander explaining what happened and asked if I could BUY a buckle or send it in to PAY for a repair and was ignored. I'd never buy from a company with such poor customer service again. Berghaus on the other hand sent me a replacement product within days when one of their items got damaged due wear and tear after the warranty had run out. Excellent video though mate.

The value for money on this pack is amazing. I love the design and layout, my only deal breaker is that the hip straps are not detachable. But i am going to check out their site for other alternatives. Thanks for the video!

HI thank for the video. I bought one of these a few weeks ago. I love it. Very comfortable. I would like to point out that the sides are not identical. One has 1 column of molle extra due to the way the zip lines up and is stitched. I use as my winter EDC bag where I carry more spare clothes and will use it as my long distance airloine carry on bag. I've added pockets on the hip belt, on each side and pockets on the shoulder straps for water and glasses. The hip belt is a little fussy to adjust and I would prefer something more easily adjusted especially as I use it for EDC and put on and take off clothes with changeable weather. The only issue I have had is with the chest harness which pulled away from the pipiing that is secured to. I've replaced it with a amazon purchase that secures all the way round the shoulder strap. I contacted Highlander Forces who offered to replace it but as I had decked it out with my own mods I declined the offer. I think the bag is extremely good value for money. It is comfortable, very flexible in how it can be adapted to suit personal needs. It is a great bag for my purpose as an EDC and airline carry on bag. Incredible value for money too.

Looking great all-around, but this is highlander, never had enough trust to buy from them anything more expensive than a t-shirt. Not sure why now:) Highlander Vs Highlander forces? Different brands or something like TT for tatonka?

Nylon 1000 sounds robust, maybe even to much, duraflex, ykk... All great 'on paper...' but how would you compare and judge 'fit and finish' comparing to TT or Direct Action?
